When it comes to professional audio companies in the Salt Lake Valley, there really are less than a handful to choose from. Performance Audio seems to have more to offer than the others. Super mad props to Terry in rentals for being able to trouble shoot repairs. Service is top notch!

Placed an order online on Nov. 30th and paid extra for 3-day shipping. Received confirmation and a note that I will receive tracking information very shortly when the order is shipped. 4 days go by and not a word from Performance Audio. So I decided to call to see what’s the order status. The customer service rep said the drop shipper is not responding, and the rep promised to update me the next day on the status of the order. It’s been 2 more days of waiting and hearing nothing from Performance Audio. During this period I sent an email requesting an order status update and as you may have guessed, no response whatsoever. Do yourself a favor. Save yourself from the headaches and time wasted shopping at Performance Audio, where both the performance and audio(response) are severely lacking.

I wanted to buy a pair of the DPA4060’s stereo pair on their website. So I did just that. The website failed to mention they were out of stock I was told to wait 2 – 3 weeks. I couldn’t wait that long as I had some recording to do the following week! Anyhow they kindly issued my refund but the problem is it could take up to 30 days to get the money back on my card. What a waste of my time. If you don’t have something in stock, please clearly state it. I will not be doing business with these guys again. Stay away from these guys if you’re doing online shopping.

Always professional. Always super knowledgeable. Always friendly. I have dealt with Performance Audio a multitude of times over the years, and have NEVER had a bad experience with them. They always treat you fairly, and go way out of their way to meet your audio needs, regardless of whether they are for professional or recreational. They won’t make you feel like an idiot for not knowing industry jargon, but they CAN speak industry jargon with knowledge and expertise.

Fantastic customer service. I went in to check some Shure headphones, and instead of hyping up the more expensive product, they referred me to EarBombz for around $ 30, which met my needs and more and knocked a bit off the price as well. Then, later, I needed headphones repaired, and when they weren’t able to get it done by the promised date, took off all the charges except for parts. Fantastic guys.
