I’m sure Pier 1 is exactly what some middle class, 30 to 50 year old white women want. Like lots of picture frames where the frame is 12 times the size of the actual picture you put in it, or mirrors where the mirror is only 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches but frame around the mirror would take up a 30 square foot area space on your wall. Everything is over decorated in a way that simply doesn’t appeal to me. Plus I feel it’s overpriced for the quality it is. Even the discount sections seem pricier than what I’d pay for any of these gadgets. This doesn’t mean Pier 1 sucks, it’s just really not for a 30 year old dude for the most part. For the record, my wife wasn’t a huge fan either. Most likely won’t be getting any home décor from here any time soon.

5 stars to pier 1 imports and Dave. He’s awesomeness! !! Perfectly helpful, friendly and Profesional. The minute I walked in the door Dave greeted me. He was very helpful to look things up for me and find what store might have it in stock. Honestly all 3 stores, Ogden, Centerville and salt lake have great people. I always shop the clearance sales. Never once have i been treated bad because I’m only buying clearance. Thx pier 1

This location seems to have more in stock than others(especially the one near the old Cottonwood Mall). I like to shop here during season changes when they have new things to see. Lots of easy parking.

Carly here is awesome! Typically Pier 1 is too expensive for my tastes but I went on Sunday to check out their Memorial Day sale. I was looking for some outdoor furniture for my patio. Carly walked me around and showed me all their different collections and answered any questions that I had. One of the last sets she showed me had a table that was discounted 75%! This $ 300 table was marked down to $ 70 because someone that bought it originally sliced some of the wicker off one of the legs. Are you kidding me? I can fix that with glue or tape, what an AMAZING deal! I ended up buying the table and four chairs for $ 320! It’s great quality stuff that is UV resistant, weather resistant and should easily last many years. I agree that this place is a little pricey but if you time it right and go on sale days, you might end up with an amazing score like I did. Also, you can’t beat the friendly staff!

I’m a fan of the Pier 1. They carry loads and loads of kitschy, funky, and globally stylized home décor products. Throw pillows, area rugs, lamps, furniture, dishes and even some roasting pans the last time I was there. Prices are low to moderate. Quality is about the same… most of the stuff you buy here, you really buy for the style. For people like me who like to mix their home décor up frequently, and their favorite styles and colors change with the seasons, its a great place to shop. If you’re looking for a special piece of art that you can pass on to your children, or an heirloom piece of furniture, you’re best to look somewhere else. Every time I have visited this location I’ve been greeted loudly and friendly like by the nearest sales clerk. After that, I generally don’t see the sales person again until I’m ready to check out.(And that’s fine with me. I don’t like feeling like a sales person is a vulture.) I like Pier 1. Great place to shop if you want to give your home a little funky feelin’.

If you love house décor then this place is just for you! There are many ornamental items from practical to visual. Everything they have is lively and vibrant and will make your house chic and modern. Pier 1 Imports is just worth going to check out because there are plenty of items to look through. My mom and I went to just browse and spent over an hour just looking at random house items. Just by going to this store we got many ideas on what to do to home-ify our house to make it home-y(and stylish!). We will definitely go back to turn our ideas to reality in our home, sweet home.
