8⁄14 I contacted these guys set up an appointment for them to come out to give me an estimate for on a new garage door installation. The appointment was set for 8:00 am to 10:00 am 8⁄15. At 9:30 am on the day of the appointment I received a phone call from the guy who was supposed to come out and was told he was behind schedule and would be out in a couple of hours, 12:00 noon rolls around and I have still not seen or heard anything from anyone not even a follow up call to let me know what is happening. As if I had nothing better to do I wasted half a day waiting on these guys. As I had some other estimates I contacted one of the other companies to come and do the job. I would not ever recommend using this company does not seem they value their customer or their customers time.

Don’t use these guys. A cable came off one side of my garage door. The guy quoted me 250.00. So I quickly called around and found someone willing to do it for 50.00. It took 5 minutes. Precision wanted 250.00 for 5 minutes work.

–Technician came and found the«problem». $ 190 for a gear and sprocket + $ 50 service call fine. Let’s get it fixed and over with. –Now track needs to be reset and lubrication of the parts. Another $ 90 + $ 50 –Now that’s been replaced and all of a sudden after that’s done there’s a new problem causing the door to stay open. I was told I need tinted safety eyes because of a glare, technician did not install tinted safety eyes, rather snipped the old ones and moved the left sensor to the right and right sensor to the left. A task that takes a couple minutes for $ 80. My hands are tied because the garage is still not working and I am asking ‘what choice do I have?’. Note that ‘glare’ has not been an issue in the year+ that I have lived in the home. -$ 9.95 fuel surcharge is a nice surprise at checkout to further nickel and dime the ‘customer’. The airlines got in trouble for this a few years ago. This is something that should be mentioned when you call. –All of a sudden this service call is over $ 450. –There are so many 5 star reviews because you are offered a discount if you give a 5 star review before they leave. Notice there’s commonly a technician’s name in the review, that is part of the agreement to receive the discount. I fell for it but sorry you cannot buy my endorsement. I called Precision and said I’m happy to be billed for the $ 25 ‘discount’ as I have corrected my rating. I was told that I would be contacted by the local management. –Sorry Precision Garage but your business gets an D–
