It’s great because you can use your smiths card to get the same discounts as the full store has. Then later when you need to fill up your car with gas you can use the points you’ve earned to get discounts.

Today I found I had three tires that were leaking air on my car, one was completely flat. I went to the Smith Express Gas Station to use their Air machine. I am pretty clueless when it comes to anything that has to do with cars so I asked one of the attendants for help. James was so helpful! He brought out the pressure gage and filled up my tires to the appropriate amount. He was very very kind in educating me on how to do it and I was grateful to him for saving my life in such a crisis! Give that guy a raise already!

This is my gas station of choice. They always have lower prices, friendly staff who occasionally open the door for you, extremely clean inside and outside, organized impressively. I highly recommend this gas station even though its about 6 blocks from the freeway, you’ll have to drive a little further to get there but its worth it to your wallet.

I usually like to grocery shop at Smith’s and use my gas rewards at the Smith’s Express. Today I didn’t have any had credit… did my wife sneak my rewards points, probably… but it’s okay. The inside is really nice. The cashier opened the door for me. Good job Smith’s gas station!

This place has changed in the past 4 years I’ve been in the area and not for the better. In point of fact, it is convenient only since I usually do the main bulk of my grocery shopping at the Smith’s a couple blocks over on 2100 S. At one time, you could combine purchases with something inside and only have one charge. Those days are over, even for me, who knew several of the staff on a first name basis. Gone also are the days of even wanting to check out anything inside, though, as the items inside have taken a steep, steep price hike. I get that it’s a convenience store and all, but I’m pretty sure that it won’t cost me an extra dollar in gas to drive around the corner to the other Smith’s to get a gallon of milk(which will also be fresher). Frankly, if it weren’t for the gas points or if the one at 2100 S. had pumps, I probably would never go here and a good quarter of the time or more, I wind up at the one at 800 S., just because this one, with its location and frequent pump issues(one of them is notorious for only giving you the highest grade, regardless of which button you actually use to choose — a known problem they have not fixed in over 2 years and running now — the northernmost pump), irritates me so much that I can’t bear fighting to get to it, if I happen to need gas at the«wrong» time of day.

Compared to any other gas station I frequent, it’s the most cleanly. The staff is always nice. My only gripe would be that they don’t do cash back on debit cards.

Nice price with Smith’s rewards! It’s on a side street in the main shopping district of Sugarhouse. Because it’s on a side street, getting there can be a challenge in rush hour. Conversely, it’s never too busy because of the location! The minimart onsite is the cleanest, most sanitary gas station I have ever encountered.
