$ 1.25 top load washer .25 per 8 minute dry Not sure how long they have had wifi, but they have wifi now, and it works well so I can watch Netflix or live stream a football game while I’m waiting on the laundry and folding my clothes. It’s in a safe feeling area, and I’ve never felt uncomfortable doing my laundry here or had any worries about leaving it for a while. People generally leave you alone. I love the old quarter arcade games that they have, I’ve wasted far too many quarters setting the high scores on all the games. Pretty sure I’m the only person that ever actually plays them. Some of the machines work better than others, same with dryers. I think that’s true of any old laundromat you find. After a few visits you learn which ones to use and which ones to skip. They’re good about marking if they’re out of order though. I mentioned when the dryer wasn’t working correctly once, and it was fixed by the next week when I came in. They have detergent and dryer sheets available in the vending machine but not bleach which is an issue I’ve heard some people complain about. Not sure about the washing service or dry cleaning as I haven’t used that ever. Another upside is that there is plenty of parking in their parking lot or on the street next to the building. It’s never an issue so I’m not lugging my laundry basket back and forth up the street. The biggest downside for me is the hours only being until 11pm. Sometimes I end up going down the street to Sugarhouse Laundry since they’re open until midnight.

If you care about your clothes, don’t wash them here. We dropped off 65lbs of laundry with specific instructions to wash cold and dry cool, our softest items(baby blankets, about $ 60 worth) came back burned to a crisp. Their excuse was they«haven’t made a mistake in 15 years». Well, that’s how old their chitty equipment is. Grrrr! I hate it when folks live up to their stereotype.

Just a typical place to do some laundry.

I don’t think they don’t even deserve one star. The laundromat was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the washer didn’t wash the clothes the first time and I had to rewash in a different washer, it took more money to dry my clothes. It is not a good place to do your laundry.

This is where I do mah laundry. Nothing special about his place but I do feel very safe here which is questionable at a few other places I’ve gone to. Pricing is standard, everything is clean and there is a large number of machines. No wifi, though. Boo for that. I can’t really complain, a laundromat is a laundromat. There is good parking here, either on-street in front or in their private lot in the back. There are a couple of little cafes nearby if you don’t want to sit around staring at the wash going in circles. I like to just walk the neighborhood sometimes if I’ve already read through the whole CityWeekly. Me and the kiddos do have a ritual, though. We arrive, load washers, start them, get a $.50 can of soda each from the ancient machine, get one other snack from the regular vending machine, sit and enjoy said snacks, then read, play DS games or go for a walk. Standard laundry day, right?
