Nicest laundromat I have seen. Bring plenty of cash as the pay system trades dollars for a payment card. I wish they took credit cards as well. I was the quarters to dollars exchanger for a customer who only brought quarters. Great large front-load washing machines and dryers.

I have recently decided to go to a different Laundromat every other week so I have new places to walk while my stuff washes. This is my third new place, granted I am not an expert laundry lady. This place is clean, and weirdly silent, and there are no employees about. The machines are not coin operated, you buy a refillable card, it’s nice to not deal with quarters, but if you don’t use all the money on the card you’ve lost it. Lame.

Update: they have axing customer service. They came fixed the problem refunded our money re washed and dried the comforter for us so we didn’t have to stay longer. Thank you! I don’t want to leave a bad review but can’t get owners to respond. We are washing a comforter and the machine is stuck on, it’s been rinsing for 2 hours and the door is locked.

This laundromat is the cleanest one I have been to. I have a washer and dryer at home, but they aren’t big enough for my down comforter and pillows. So once a year I take a day to get all that stuff washed. I also take coats and jackets I don’t want in my top loading washer. They have quite a few large washers and a couple huge ones. The place is always really clean, which is a huge plus for me. It is nice to have found a clean location with good machines to wash my bulky items. I have been going there once a year for the past 3 years and it is always the same level of service. Maybe the only thing I would change would be some additional and better seating. But if you have stuff in a locked washer, there are places very close(Walmart and Smiths) if you need to get some other errands complete.

By far the best and CLEANEST Laundromat in ALL of Salt lake County! The Owner is nice and around often and the prices are very reasonable.

Our washing machine broke and we ended up coming here while waiting for a new one. It was great! Really clean and easy to use with a great location. If you need to run errands while your laundry dries you’re in a great spot. We’ll come here for our quilts and blankets when I need a large capacity machine.

How much you like this place will depend on how much you like their card system. I sort of dislike it, as it’s one more thing to keep track of that I don’t need and they always seemed to work erratically to me, so after I moved from there, I never went back, but my roommate liked the place so much he drove cross-town to go there. To each their own, I gave him my card and that was that. I’m deducting a star, though, for something I wish would have been an option instead of necessity. The good parts of this place is that it still looks brand new, despite being a good decade old, at least, by now. I remember when it was being built and it remarkably hasn’t aged much, if at all. The usual assortment of free papers, advertisements, vending machines and tv are all there, so nothing too spectacular there. Generally you can always get a machine or two free pretty much and there’s some easy spots close by to get to if you need to go shopping or want some Greek food or whatever.

For a laundry mat, this place is amazingly clean. Easy to use all the machines and the card– which means no carrying around quarters.

On the list of chores I hate, laundry falls somewhere between well digging and giving my dog suppositories. As you read my review of Swishy Washy, please bear in mind that it is shaded with bitter resentment for the responsibilities of adulthood and a desperate longing for better times(the twenty-four glorious years that my mom washed my clothes). I have been a reluctantly loyal customer of Swishy Washy for the last year and a half. I come here because I like the fact that, instead of having to schlep around twenty pounds of quarters, I can just pay by putting money on a card. The E-Z Card is aptly named, as the machine that dispenses it is very simple to operate. The sensors on the washing machines and dryers can be somewhat touchy, but you’ll get there in the end. Another nice aspect of this laundromat is that there are always plenty of machines available even if it’s busy, as it often is. I come for the five-load capacity washers and stay for the economy sized dryers. Both are reasonably priced, and make doing an entire month’s worth of laundry in one evening as painless as possible. Custodians come to clean up at the end of each evening and do a pretty good job. I’ve noticed that Swishy Washy always looks pretty clean. There is an ATM available in house for your use if you’ve forgotten to bring cash and are willing to pay the exorbitant bank fees. There is also a machine that’s loaded with the necessities you might have left at home, such as detergent or bleach, but I’ve never had much luck getting anything to come out of it. Better just to run to Wal-Mart which is conveniently located about ten feet away. So it’s got a cute name and plenty of washing machines. If you have to do your laundry — which we all must until disposable clothes finally come into fashion — and you don’t have your own machine, Swishy Washy is as good a place as any to do the deed.
