As simple as the all American hotdog is… World Dog takes it to an all new level right from his cart to your belly. His creativity and flare gives you options for how you eat a hot dog. We hired World Dog to cater a car show at Young Ford in Morgan for 200 people, turned out to almost double. Needless to say World Dog kept everyone happy and full. We are defiantly hiring them again. Very friendly service and promoting positive energy!

Great fresh bread, clearly freshly prepared toppings, yet an actual dog more flavorless than any I could have bought off any shelf at any convenience store. The dog ruined the experience. What a waste. Save your money, save your appetite, eat anywhere else

Excellent! Not only is Joe, the owner a great, personable fellow. He treats his customers like friends and his hot dogs are the best. For you Southerners, try the cole slaw dog. Started with one… had to have another. Be sure and call before you go as Joe has several businesses and also local charities who reward their employees with World Dogs.

The dude who runs World Dog is the nicest guy ever. He is super friendly and wants to make sure his customers are happy and satisfied. I had the Sicilian Dog and it was fantastic! Colosimo Italian sausage with peppers, onions and marinara sauce made my dog a brilliant concoction. Yum! I mentoined that next time I’d be trying the Greek dog and the owner told me that Colosimo made the sausage especially for him. I can’t wait to get back there and try it!

$ 1 dog Mondays! Had the dollar dog combo(soda and chips only $ 1 extra) and the Taj. For $ 6, it was the best value I have found. The tofu dog was delish, as were the toppings. I saw the Silician served and that looked great as well. Next time, I am thinking the Greek! Really fresh, fun toppings and an excellent chef behind the cart. My companion mentioned that the $ 1 dog was very good quality. I am looking forward to trying more of Joe’s creations as well as the tomato soup. The cart is located in front of the Sundance store in Sugar House. Since it was such a gorgeous day, we took our dogs and sat curbside. The most perfect, impromptu picnic! Come check it out, and spread the word…

After months of driving by the World Dog food cart on Highland, we decided to stop for lunch on our way home from the gym. Good news– we were very impressed and will be back! Joe, the owner, could not be more friendly or charismatic! We walked up a couple of minutes before he was actually open, but he was super cool and assured us he could have whatever we wanted up and ready in no time. The menu consists of about 8 gourmet-ish dogs– with names like The Buffalo(celery and carrot slaw with blue cheese and buffalo sauce), The Austin(Joe’s homemade chili, cheese and French fried onions) and The Malibu(tofu dog with tomatoes, sprouts, avocado and a California dressing), his homemade tomato basil soup and hot chocolate. He has hot dogs, several different kinds of sausages and even veggie dogs for the non-meat eaters like me! Although everything has been developed to taste amazing, you can interchange the toppings and the dogs– Joe is super laid back and welcomes special requests! I was very impressed that he made his own Malibu dressing, tomato soup, chili and marinara sauce! Prices are good– they range from $ 3(build-your-own) to $ 5(tofu dogs). For $ 1, you can add a soda and a bag of chips. For $ 2, you can add a bowl of his really great tomato soup. And he offers Dollar Dogs on Mondays! He has been open since July and I really wish him well– he is a trained chef, and although he’d probably make more money working downtown at lunch time, he chooses to work in Sugar House because he loves the neighborhood so much and really feels that it is up and coming. Great guy and great food– check it out!!!
