I have been to yoshi’s five times now. Each time the food has been amazing. They have a way of cooking that is both tasty and healthy. They do an especially greeat job with all curry and teriyaki dishes. This is where I am going to go when I want something delicious and also reasonably priced.

All these awesome places that are right by my house that I never went to out of sheer stubbornness, I’ll never stop kicking myself for my incredible ineptitude. Yoshi’s is an awesome little place in Murray that has some pretty awesome Japanese food with generous portions. The prices are really low for the amount of food you can get and the combos are the best way to go. The sushi rolls are pretty large as well and it tasted just as good as the rice bowl I had earlier. Definitely a well run, clean and friendly establishment that deserves your time.

For what it is, it is great! Let me make it clear, this isn’t world class sushi. It is a quick service restaurant… which usually doesn’t translate good for sushi. However, it is better than I expected for this type of restaurant and even better than some fancy wanna be sushi places. I’d come back for a sushi quickie. The service and staff are exceptional!

Grabbed a quick lunch. Rad Dragon bowl, drink, and a roll. $ 14 total. It was good and I would add this to my list of lunches on a budget. Customer service was great and the place was clean and well kept.

The food here is AWESOME. The sushi is the best I’ve ever had, I favor the Matrix. I love the Kobe beef dish, plates come in small, medium, and large. I can eat, but I can’t finish off the large in one sitting lol. No matter what you eat here you can’t go wrong, the food is that good. The prices are affordable also, I got a large Kobe beef(which could easily feed 3 normal people lol) and a full sushi dish for $ 17 and change, a very good deal. I highly recommend this place.

Some friends wanted to meet up here tonight. I’ve never been here but was impressed enough that I would love to come back! I ordered the raging bull chicken dish. I find that a lot of restaurants advertise spicy dishes but the food doesn’t have enough spice. This had just the right balance of spice & sweet teriyaki flavor. The chicken was tender and the rice was perfect. We were all very impressed with the prices: six dollars for regular size or nine dollars for large. The large was so big that I still have plenty to eat for lunch tomorrow. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Most of all I loved the rockclimbing artwork on the walls and the alternative music over the speakers. This was a great experience.

We’ve been here twice so far and I’m sure will visit again. The edamame was excellent the first time and a little over cooked the second time. My husband wasn’t a big fan of the peanut chicken bowl. Some of the rolls are great, but many of them are fried and then covered in spicy mayo, which is not my favorite. The non-fried rolls are pretty good, and the sushi is really cheap(for this reason, I’d be wary of getting anything not veg or cooked). The miso soup was good, but that’s pretty hard to mess up. Overall, not too bad for a fast casual type atmosphere. We’ve managed to eat for under $ 25 both times, but I think you could easily get out for $ 20 with 2 people.

Yoshi’s isn’t the amazing, nice atmosphere type of place to take a date, but there is a good variety of fast and cheap rice bowls here which is what keeps me coming back. It is very consistent and never disappoints. Also the butternut soup is one of my favorites and I always get a cup of it with my meal. The«raging bull» chicken rice dish can’t be very healthy but boy is it delicious. It’s one of my favorite to-go options in the 900 East area of Murray.

Yoshi’s is somewhere I go to pretty regularly for lunch. I give it three stars because ultimately, there are better rice bowls at decent Japanese restaurants. But that rating doesn’t reflect the fact I still go there often. The food is consistent, quick and pretty good. Also a solid value. I speak for the rice bowls. The sushi rolls are okay. Wouldn’t go out of my way to order those. I have tried the curry chicken rice bowl, the shrimp and avocado bowl, the cilantro like chicken bowl(not exactly Asian inspired), steak and vegetables, and the spicy teriyaki chicken. With the exception of the steak bowl, I’d get all of the others again. And I do. The steak was tough and dry. Didn’t love that. My two favorites are the chicken curry and shrimp and avocado(called Reloaded) bowls. Both very flavorful and are bowls where the sauce doesn’t overwhelm the other ingredients. I would not overdo the teriyaki sauce that comes with the Shrimp Reloaded. It can be pretty strong and overpower the shrimp and spicy mayo. I won’t dissect the dishes I’ve had. I think they are all pretty solid and a helluva value for what you pay especially if you get the large size. It’s enough to last me two meals. Staff and really friendly too.
