Zebra Stone Collection

We were introduced to Zebra Stone Collection when we contracted with Granite and Marble Specialties to install our new countertop. (Both companies are located in the same building in Kent.) At the time, we were looking at tiles from a number of other sources and hadn’t settled on any particular company. When we met Keelan, the general manager, he immediately put us at ease and made us feel confident that his company would do a good job for us. He encouraged us to look around at other places for tiles/​prices; he told us that he could probably find the identical tile if it wasn’t in stock and that his prices would be competitive. As it turned out, his price was the lowest for any of the places we had visited. The one unknown, however, was whether his company would do a good job laying the tile. Keelan assured us that all of his tile people were «perfectionists,» so we decided to take a chance. We weren’t disappointed. Al did an amazing job on our backsplash. (And he was also a very nice guy.) He came out one day in advance to figure out how much tile we needed so that it could be ordered prior to the job. When the tile arrived, we were able to schedule an install a few days later. In all, it took two days to install the tile, a few hours on another day to grout the tile, and an hour on a subsequent day to apply the sealer.
One of the things that I liked about working with Zebra Stone Collection is that Keelan presented us with a price sheet when we first met him. By ticking off the items that we would need to have done, we knew approximately how much the project would cost. (I am always reluctant to hire on a «per hour» basis unless I know that something can actually be accomplished within a certain timeframe.) Zebra Stone’s installation prices were more than fair and the job quality was top-​notch. Keelan was also very responsive in answering questions re: installation that we had and spent a fair amount of time showing us the various tiles. We had mentioned to Keelan that we were hoping to get the job finished prior to Thanksgiving and he delivered. We probably put some undue pressure on him because we took a few months deciding on the tile we wanted, but he never complained. Overall, Zebra Stone was one of the best contractors that we used for our kitchen renovation. You won’t be disappointed if you choose them for your tile work.

I highly recommend Zebra Stone Collection we received great guidance in choosing the product and the supplies needed for the installation; communication was timely; installation was timely, the installer did a awesome job and was neat and clean throughout the entire installation.
