I ate breakfast at the Barnes crossing Cracker Barrel Saturday March 26. My order came with two eggs, bacon, sausage, two pancakes. It was good! My eggs was just the way I wanted them, the pancakes was delicious. My waitress wasn’t too friendly but took very good care of me. This place knows how to get the food out.

Comfort food and consistently good quality, wherever you are in the country. Our server was particularly friendly, but not bothersome.

Not the fastest service but decent, comfort food for me since I used to go here all the time as a kid, and friendly staff. I usually always get the chicken and dumplings, a bit under seasoned but taste like home.

The daily special of fish was some of the worst prepared fish ever. Sweet potato fries and teeny pieces of fish were fried to little crispy nothings which were cold! Service was pitiful as well. Thought we were not going to be waited on and once our order was taken had to flag down someone for drink refills after we were through eating. Wonder where the management is? Not typical of Cracker Barrel.

Good approximation of Southern food in a good approximation of a country atmosphere. The place is always packed when we go, but usually the wait time on a table isn’t terribly long. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive for the most part, although during a rush you may get left waiting for a while. Personal favorites– The french toast, meatloaf. Avoid– The chicken and dumplings. Maybe it’s just me, but these were bland as hell.

Our server, Debra, was great. The food was great. The Stars were lost because our food took forever to arrive. Tables that were sat after us were served before us. We expected the manager to apologize for the delay but we never saw anyone except Debra and she apologized profusely even though she had done her job quite well and SHE had no reason to apologize. All in all it was a below average trip to the Cracker Barrel.

I missed Cracker Barrel and decided to try it on my business trip. I had the catfish dinner(1 fried, 1 blackened/grilled) and loved both. I had the fried orkas, corn on cob, and collard greens. Service was fast and attentive. If you pass through here, then I would recommend this town. Between Memphis and Birmingham, there are few large cities and this one is one of them besides Old Albany, Tupelo, and Jasper.

The best thing about Cracker Barrel is whatever the location you go to you know exactly what you’re going to get. They always offer you the breakfast and lunch menus and whatever time of the day you are they you can get whichever type of food you want. The chicken n dumplings always rule and they beef stew never lets me down. Fresh biscuits or corn bread are always a good thing.

Been to this Cracker Barrel many times over the years, always a good experience. Waiters are nice, of the ones I have experienced. Weekend lunches and dinners can be a wait to be seated, but that is to be expected. Food nice and warm, could be warmer for me. Been to other Cracker Barrels in TN, and this one is consistant as those.
