This hometown eatery is friendly, welcoming and serves up food fast. Their menu has a very wide selection. From«breakfast served all day» to salads, soups and sandwiches. Their baked goods include bread, bagels, muffins, scones, sticky buns, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and various nut bars. I had a tasty deli sandwich for lunch with a pasta side salad. I also brought some of their baked goods home with me! Nice town too!

Food was ok but service was slow as molasses. This place offers an assortment of really expensive pies and cakes. Skip it if you don’t want to wait 45 minutes to be served a simple meal. The town is awesome.

Having lived in Saluda as a child, I knew Wildflour back when it was owned by Debbie and was located on the upper end of Main St. Now it’s run by her equally talented daughter, Molly, and is in the little square. From the beginning, Wildflour was known for the incredible(I don’t use that word lightly) stickie buns and heartwarming homemade breads. Today, they have expanded into serving an amazing array of baked goods, lunches, and more. I can honestly say I have never had a sub-par, adequate, or simply okay item from Wildflour. In addition to the stellar quality of food, Wildflour epitomizes what a true local business should be: welcoming, community-minded, and curious as to the customers’ feedback. When my great-aunt and uncle, who still live in the area, were unwell, I was able to order a whole batch of items from NYC to be delivered to them. Molly was extremely helpful in this process. If only I could have the stickie buns sent to me in NYC warm from the oven every week. Wildflour is proof that with passion, care, and a supportive community, you can achieve anything.
