One fucking star because this place claims to exist, yet it’s nowhere to be found. I wonder how many people have died driving long hours in the night while glancing at their gps only to finally be told, «you have arrived,» when all there is is darkness all around you. Update your shit so people can find you for fucks sake.

Really enjoyed the chicken fried steak! Nice and peppery. The service was great! Try it out!

The commercial center of the community of Sam’s Valley has grown in the last decade from a general store/gas station to a general store/feed store, two gas stations-convenience stores and the Triple Tree restaurant and lounge. On a cold winter Sunday when the clouds parted for the sun after days of rain and snow showers and the temperature eased into the upper 40s, I rolled out the yellow machine for lunch ride to Wanda’s. Inside, the lounge was partitioned off from the restaurant and both sections took up about equal space in the building. The dinning area was decorated with pencil drawings of famous western movie heroes and some ranching gear. The tables and chairs were inexpensive metal — a very basic setup. Not wanting a 1⁄3rd lb. burger or breakfast, I opted for the open-face turkey sandwich with french fries. The turkey was good luncheon meat, probably from Costco Warehouse. The fries were over-processsed; eatable but not enjoyable while the white gravy was average – though I seldom order anything with white gravy. There were few customers in the restaurant, an elderly couple tottered out and a young man, probably from one of the other businesses; I couldn’t see into the lounge. Today day, the special was elk burger. I had an elk burger once in Montana and would have tried it again if I had seen the«special» sign earlier.
