Comet 1-Hour Cleaners

They completely destroyed my daughter’s one year birthday outfit by steaming off the entire cake and candle cloth appliqué from the top and simply throwing the appliqué away. I had had it specially made to match my daughter’s birthday colors and theme, it took a month for it to get made, and I was going to have a portrait done in it. Rather than apologizing or offering me a refund the guy proceeded to lecture me for 10 minutes straight about how it wasn’t his fault, that I should go tell the woman who made it to use another kind of glue, and that now HE’S losing money becaus of it! I paid $ 50 for this birthday outfit which Comet destroyed and I had to ASK for the cleaning fee refund of $ 4 which the guy begrudgingly gave me while constantly lecturing me and bitching at ME as if this is some huge hassle for him. I lost $ 50, my baby’s first birthday outfit destroyed and I can’t have a portrait in it now, and he was yelling at me for 10 minutes. Never did the words I’m sorry come out of his mouth once. I asked why, when dry cleaning it and the appliqué was coming off did they not stop or at least save the appliqué so I could repair the outfit. He just said oh it probably just went down the drain, with a grin on his face. I said I asked for it to be dry cleaned, not laundered, because of the appliqué. He said oh it was dry cleaned, not laundered. Makes no sense at all and the absolute nastiest rudest person I have ever encountered in San Angelo. Obviously they laundered it and lied about it and then instead of owning up to it they chose to blame me and treat me like garbage. Oh and another item I picked up isn’t even clean. They didn’t get the stain out at all and still charged me. I don’t want to ever set foot in there again to try to get a refund for that one. So Comet you just got $ 4 off me for free since my sweater was not cleaned at all. Hope you’re happy since all you care about is money and not the customer. I will NEVER set foot in there again. There are 50 other dry cleaners I can use instead.
