Awesome service! Awesome work! Helped us out in a pinch at the San Anselmo Coop.

Good service, good work. We used them for a large contract for wildfire fuel reduction, and they did the work professionally and on-​time. They know their business, and are highly recommended.

WARNING: There are 2 bay area businesses with the name of Elite Tree Service. This review is for the one, in San Anselmo, run by Rich. And several of the reviews on the other one in Oakland are for the Marin one. Lucky for them (both I guess) they’re good reviews.
Anyway:Last year, Elite Tree did some very difficult, dangerous and tricky work removing some large sick trees that were overhanging structures and property lines, with grace and professionalism.
I just had them come back to hang solar string lights and other yard art, and it was done beautifully, again fast, safely and with zero drama. I left much of the details to their judgment and it came out even better than if I’d been able to get up there 200+ feet above ground to do it myself.
Their crew is a delight, and Rich, the Owner is a knowledgeable tree professional.
I wholeheartedly recommend them. (So much so that my neighbor has them in her yard right now!) ”

At the risk of using a tired, but in this case apt cliché, avoid Elite Tree Service and owner Rich Torresen of San Anselmo, like the plague. He promised to come to the site to assess the small trimming job, a maximum of half a day’s work. Finally showed up after follow up calls. He assessed the job, gave a price, and said the work would be done the following week. Did not call to confirm time and day for that next week. Never called back. After waiting about a month, I called him. He said he couldn’t get to it for at least a week and a half. I asked if he could send an employee out for the half day it would take. No way he would do that. He said we could keep arguing about it, but he wouldn’t send anyone. I guess if you have a lot of work, you can be arrogant and profane. He was. I wouldn’t touch Elite Tree Service with Luther Burbank’s ten foot tree trimming pole.
