Well, I don’t liek being greeted automatically when I walk into a store, it is annoying. So I think Michael was a bit sensitive. Anyhoo, I love Paper Source, but PS Paper has neat gifts and fine cards and a nice staff. They even give you candy sometimes. I like the fact that it is next to the post office. You can get a card or create one(they have stickers and stamps) and then mail your card when you are done. YAY

The store is OK — a good selection of cards and paper products that you do not generally find elsewhere. Also a fair amount of inventory that is pretty common. I am all for supporting local businesses but the one thing that prevents me from wanting to ever go back is the horrible attitude of one of the staff. Zero greeting. No acknowledgement. My wife and I both felt like we were just in the way, even though we were the only customers in the shop. With several stores going out of business in San Anselmo, the time of the hobby house-wife store is over. If a shop cannot build and maintain a loyal customer community based on good inventory and excellent customer service, the owners get no sympathy from me. As it stands, a simple hello, or even a normally unwelcome«can I help you find something?» would have secured a purchase and a return visit. But quickly getting the feeling that we were unwelcome means that our business will forever be taken elsewhere.

This is such a great little store! The name says ps paper, but it is more than just a paper store. Everytime I turn around, there is something new and cool to see. I picked up some really nice and unique xmas gifts here the other day, and they were all fairly priced. I noticed when I got home that I was overcharged, so I went back the next day, and the lady(I forget her name) was able to recognize the problem immediately and refunded my money. And she threw in a complimentary notepad. Now that’s service! The store is conveniently located next to the post office, too, so whenever I need to buy stamps or send a package, I will be stopping by here again!

The wedding invitation hunt has begun. So, since I live a whopping 5 minutes away(and that’s walking) P. S. Paper was my logical(and closest) first stop. Went in Saturday with my M.O.H., and were greeted by Beth, a very sweet sales assistant. We explained that we were interested in browsing wedding invitations, and she set us right up with all of the books, and P. S.‘s personal line. The prices for P. S’s line are super reasonable, and they offer SOMANY different options! I can’t wait to sit down with Jill(one of the owners) and talk invites! The store itself has an amazing selection of cards, stationary, gifts… everything. It’s a great little shop that every town should have!

I have been scrapbooking for years and making my own cards. Now that my schedule has become so full and I haven’t the time, I wandered into PS Paper to see what they had. I love it. Very nice display of invitations and cards – samples to view. We were in a total crunch and needed to get invitations out ASAP. This was the place! Not only were they done in a timely manner, they were spectacular! Since we are newly engaged and will be planning a wedding soon, this will be the place we go when it’s time to create the perfect wedding invitation. Everyone was helpful and the work was beautiful. Not to mention they have cute things like notebooks, journals made from old recycled books(very cool gift idea), and a mother’s planner. Stamps, ribbons, blank cards, some embellishments. Not a scrapbooking place, but will enough to be creative and make your own cards.

Paper Source is my number one source for paper, but in Marin County, PS Paper definitely wins first place. This great space has stationery for all types(fancy to casual), cards for every occasion, notepads, fun erasers, a wonderful little selection of gifts, gift tags, wrapping paper, custom printing, blank note cards & envelopes(a good number of recycled options) in nearly every shade imaginable. The blanks are my favorite as I love to do my own printing. When I asked for a particular size &PS didn’t have it, they said they could cut some to size for me & they did. On the spot! Now, that’s great service. And that’s why I can’t stay away.

This store is a real asset to the San Anselmo/Ross community ! As the Activities and Volunteer Coordinator of The Cedars of Marin, I went to P. S. Paper and asked if there was anything that they could donate for the sole purpose of ‘re-purposing’ materials to use in our art classes. They were more than happy to help us out. That’s when their generosity of spirit began. Valentines day 2009 was coming up and the owner and her son, Jill and Jacksosn, asked if they could make, donate and deliver heartwarming and delicious(chocolate adorned) Valentine’s Day Cards for all 47 of our Ross residents. The cards were eagerly opened at breakfast on Valentines day and love was celebrated. The two of them asked if they could get more involved. No Problem ! Yesterday. Jackson, now a youth volunteer at The Cedars, put on a Mother’s Day card-making workshop with our folks; he arrived with a huge box containing quality cards, envelopes, labor-intensive cut-outs, stamps and pads in every spring color. The workshop was a huge success and dozens of mothers will receive these fabulous daisy-inspired cards this week. A community-partnership is being build with one sweet card at a time. Lots of smiles all around ! Kudos to P. S. Paper of San Anselmo !

ps paper has the best selection of paper products in Marin. They have a vast selection of cards, wrapping paper, stationary and invitations. Additionally, both of the owners are very creative — come in with an idea and they will create the perfect invitation, stationary, holiday card etc. They do alot of special orders for me with a very quick turn around time. Just a footnote to Heather M. — If you only had $ 2.00 and needed a $ 4.00 loaf of bread would you ask the store to sell you half? Get a life and get over your misdirected anger.

I’ve lived in San Anselmo for years and just recently stumbled upon this store. I had my dog with me – and the women were so nice to let me shop around with my pooch inside. The cards are amazing — adorable and high quality while still affordable. Plus, tons of great stationary, journals, etc. Really friendly, helpful staff. Awesome shop.

i work in the neighborhood and i desperately needed a couple of sheets of nice stock paper for a last minute project i was comping for a local nonprofit. normally this town is freaky nice. like a david lynch version of mayberry. and the median home price is like 9 gazillion dollars… whose gonna sweat two sheets of paper!!! well, apparently PS Paper. i had a total of two dollars to my name at the time and needed a whopping 2 sheets of paper. after explaining my situation and begging to purchase the 2 sheets, she told me that she wouldn’t break a pack and that they were 5 dollars. i offered again humbly my 2 dollars but was refused. needless to say, i’ll never return. i don’t get mad. i don’t get even. i just Unilocal
