This convenience store has gone through a lot of changes over the past few years. As far as I know, it started life as a Tetco station – and kind of a seedy one at that. Then it turned into a Shell station a few years ago, but it still wasn’t all that nice. But I was driving by recently and spotted the 7-Eleven logo on the store. I hadn’t seen one of those in years and had kind of thought the chain had folded. So I ducked inside to grab a cup of coffee. I noticed that the store is now considerably cleaner than under its previous incarnations. It is staffed with friendly people, and everything is nicely organized. The coffee bar is outstanding, featuring six different blends and a big dispenser for milk and half & half. I particularly appreciate the fact that the foods(sausages, empanadas etc.) are not self-serve, making things a bit more sanitary. This store has gone from a place I avoided to one I will happily visit for my morning coffee. Oh thank heaven for 7-Eleven!
