I shall call this post «The Pigeon»
My Fiancé and I couldn’t find any Hibachi in the mall… so Blimpy was our. Only hope to have a decent lunch. The sandwiches were ok. I swear 7yrs ago the quality was better… or maybe I’m spoiled thanks to Jersey Mikes (Which FYI… they Rock)
So the Pigeon… after spending $ 17.35 on two sandwiches, we found a spot in the foodcourt (with a view of the riverwalk). Out of Hell came a FAT, GREY, rat with wings over my freaking head!!! I was scared for my life! This diseased bird pecked at every crumb on the g floor.
The Sandwiches… too much Oregon, to much vinegar.
End of story.

At least it’s not Subway.
Rivercenter Mall offers a range of options for food, but only one restaurant per cuisine. For sandwiches, they’re letting Blimpie run the sandwich racket. They put out sandwiches on «freshish» bread. They’re not exactly baking it in front of you, but it’s not stale. Toppings were fairly generous, especially on the lettuce. The sandwiches aren’t anything to write home about. There were limited options for things to put on the sandwiches, but it beats Subway.
They managed to churn out a sandwich rather quickly, and got us on our way. The staff was businesslike and efficient.
They don’t give out samples like some of the other places in the food court do…
