This hidden gem on the East Side of San Antonio is sure to please crowds of all ages. Every month, on a Thursday evening, new art exhibit is adorned in their gallery and there is ALWAYS an event of music, ballet, jazz, and so much more that gathers crowds here during the weekends. They also offer affordable camps and classes for kids and adults ranging from theatre, music, art, guitar, capoeria, and more! Parking is available across the street and behind the main building. They also have a smaller building in the back that holds 150 people for more intimate events and 650 in the main building for larger events. If you’re ever in the area, stop on buy and check out lots of history and multi-​culture events.

went to the carver for a maya angelou tribute and enjoyed the performance and locale. this venue can host 650 including the balcony. the lobby was large and didn’t feel crowded since this performance was at capacity. beautifully landscaped outside. will be back.
