Very friendly staff and our family photos were nice.

Very friendly, professional staff. The photographers are –outstanding– with children, even getting extremely shy or introverted ones to smile. The staff is lively and fun, encouraging everyone to relax and enjoy themselves — for introverts this can seem somewhat over-​the-​top, but the staff really does mean well. (Just grin — literally! — and bear it. Or, even better, –smile– and bear it – everyone’ll be happy and you’ll be finished that much more quickly.) There’re loads of options for backgrounds, from an indoor studio with backdrops to a large outdoor area with trees, old stone steps, etc. The pictures are pricey, but (at least from what I’ve heard secondhand) no more than most other photo studios. And the photographers definitely have skill, although I thought some of the poses looked a bit awkward and forced.
One note: While you’re selecting your pictures from the proofs, the staff lets you know that they’ll smooth out wrinkles (on clothes or skin), open eyes wider (or redirect gazes), and other little things automatically and for free. They also have paid adjustments that include switching heads on photos and slimming people. To me, these adjustments make the pictures seem unnatural — they –look– great, but in my head I no longer trust that I’m really looking at the true person as they were in the picture. However, others seem to love this capability. Each to their own; I just wanted to mention it.
