Don’s & Ben’s

Its not a bad little place. The prices are reasonable. It’s not fancy but this keep prices down. There is actually a separate wine room which is nice and cool. The staff was very polite to me and helped me when I needed it. I think I will go here again. The selection isn’t as big as Gabriel’s. But it is all one price and it isn’t overwhelming. They have all the basics like brandy and whiskey plus they have beer. All they need now wine tasting days.

Wrong.
I first visited Don’s & Ben’s (conveniently located in the H-​E-​B Plus! shopping center on Blanco) when my family was having a get-​together. After a stop at the grocery store to pick up necessary fajita items, I popped into D&B to grab some tequila, salt, lime and margarita mixin’s.
I was met warmly by a friendly cashier and a huge selection of anything one might need for their imbibing pleasures. Several types of liquors, beers and mixes fill shelf after shelf at this clean, neat and organized space. If it’s wine you’re seeking, step into the wine cellar and brows the choices there.
Since my first visit, I’ve been back several times and always had consistently great service and competitive prices!
