First class store, reminds me of World Market, but this store is very intimate. I was greeted by the manager who was willing to help me with my selections. Someone on one of those FB group’s yard sale sites was selling a sugar skull canvas artwork for $ 5. I told her I would have paid $ 20. I am looking for voodoo-inspired art, as I am from NOLA and that shit is cool there. You know Marie Laveau and all that stuff. Anyway, the yard sale seller told me where she bought her art and said the whole store was having a clearance sale. Come to find out it was only on the clothing and not the canvas artwork. My sugar skull art was $ 44. Not today. This store has very eclectic items such as incense, dream catchers, home décor from around the world, jewelry, perfumes, t-shirts, plenty of artwork, toys, and candles. takeouts: — a sugar skull aka a calavera is a representation of a lost soul. It is one of the icons one can see on the Day of the Dead(Día de Muertos), and in the Catholic religion All Soul’s Day. sugar skull

The employees are so nice! I’ve been greeted both times and they get new stuff in weekly and tell me what is new and what’s on sale. This is my new favorite place to get incense. 100 cones or sticks for around $ 8. I am really enjoying the scents I chose, I burn probably several times a day because I like them so much. Picked up a sweet piece of art my last trip that I saw on the first trip and I couldn’t stop thinking about. As I go to ring out I’m informed they have dresses on sale for $ 12.99 and I found a super cute one! Score!
