Absolutely, hands down, the best place for corrective eye surgery. From my initial consultation exam to the procedure and post op exams, ALL of the staff and Dr. Rashid have been incredible. I feel that they truly cared about me/​my eyes rather than trying to make quick money. They were very thorough right from the beginning. I was nervous on the actual procedure day, but everyone helped ease that and Dr. Rashid was calming and talked me through the entire (short) procedure! I highly recommend Dr. Rashid to anyone!

I am a 25 year old male and I used to have about five times the normal amount of Astigmatism. I reaserached into the best lasik surgeon in San Antonio and Dr. Rashid’s name kept coming up.
I went in for my free screening to see if I was a viable candidate and everyone in the office during that visit was wonderful. They answered all of my questions that I had about the various tests that they were performing and they answered them in a professional, but pleasant manner.
Yesterday was my surgery day and everything went to plan. My mother drove me to the Alamo Vision Center, the surgery took about 15 mins and I was immediately able to see clearly, leafs on trees etc. I was sensitive to light immediately afterwards, which is normal, and after arriving home and taking about a 2 hour nap I could see so well I could watch tv, read, etc with no problem.
The next day (today) I went in to the office for my check up and Dr. Rashid said that everything looked perfect and I could read the 20:15 line for the vision check!
I absolutely recommend getting LASIK from Dr. Rashid!

THE BEST technician in town for LASIK. My prescription was very high with astigmatism and for the most time I felt that I will never be able to get rid of my glasses.
Caroline is wonderful person and always answered all my questions. Dr. Rashid takes PERSONAL CARE of all his patients and I had a slight discomfort after LASIK and he took out time to see me immediately. For me this gesture was very reassuring that Dr. Rashid is available for any issues.
Even if you have decided on your LASIK doctor, just take a second opinion from Dr. Rashid before making the final decision. You won’t regret it!
