El Molino

Wow — probably the best tamales de pollo y jalapeño I’ve ever had, and everyone else who ate them along with me agrees! This place is an east central SA gem that does a great job with tamales, breakfast tacos and other plates. I went in a day before I needed to provide lunch for a Fiesta event (yes, this review is late in coming), and they had 4 dozen tamales ready, hot & fresh for me at 7 a.m. the next morning. This restaurant does have tables, so you can eat there if you want. Excellent food, good prices! I’m heading there to pick some up for the Spurs game tonight!
