The dinning area appeared clean. The restooms was in need of a wipe down. My dine-in experience the food was great(the best pizza ever) and so was the customer service. However, my past 3 carryout orders have been not so great. Either my pizza lacked cheese to cover the bread, it lacked sauce but with plenty of cheese, or my pizza was burned. I’ve continued to order hoping to get the wonderful pizza I had received when I first found the restaurant. Please get better!

This place… Oh this place. My husband and I use Garlic Jim’s as a frame of reference for bad restaurants– and we aren’t picky people at all. The chicken on our pizza looked super weird, we didn’t want to feed any to our toddler, and shortly after started picking it off for ourselves. Now I will fully admit I must not have payed attention to the menu, but the pizza I got happened to be one without tomato sauce. But it wasn’t clearly marked on the menu at all. I consider tomato sauce to be a default ingredient on pizza, so it makes sense to clearly state THIS pizza is sauceless. Anyway, to remedy the saucelessness of my pizza we asked for marinara sauce. The guy gives me 2 ice cold small containers of marinara. I ask if I could please have them heated up, and he says he has to put it on the stove because they don’t have a microwave(!!!). It didn’t even make me mad I just thought the whole experience was funny. So yeah, Garlic Jim’s is a running joke in our house. Don’t bother going there, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area.

Ordered pizza online at 4pm to be delivered at 6:30. At 7:00 called the store and was told the pizza has been ready but they are waiting for a driver and it would be 30 or more minutes and he said the«due time» was 7:10. So to clarify, I requested the food to be there at 6:30, they got the pizza ready at 6:30 but think it will be delivered at 7:30. Ordered cancelled. Awful. Awful service.

Had the gluten free bacon chicken ranch pizza. It was very good. I would definitely get it again. But what I honestly loved was the fact that the staff was very polite and welcoming.

If you like pizza you will love Garlic Jim’s. I ate here during a business trip and I really enjoyed eating there. The array of options for ingredients that you can have on your pizza is large. The ingredients are all fresh and the food is prepared quickly. Aside from everything i previously mentioned there are two additional aspects of Garlic Jims that stand out to me — the taste and the price. Normally you must sacrifice one for the other. Not at Garlic Jims!

Beat Pizza in town. GJ’S catered our working group of 35 people last week. The pizza was ready on time, hot, delicious and the staff was very courteous. I recommend them to all my friends and colleagues. They also have amazing salads. Get in fast and try them out.

I have not eaten in the actual restaurant. I’m not even sure if that’s a thing. This review is based off of delivery. We ordered the Meat Lovers pizza and the Chipotle Chicken Salad. The pizza was great. Nice dough and sauce. No complaints with the pizza. Not the BEST I’ve ever had, but would totally get it again. Salad… Terrible. My husband says that’s what I get for trying to be healthy on pizza night. Grrrrr. The salad was mostly iceberg with a little romaine. Corn and black beans that were wet and made th salad wet. The chicken was disgusting. I think I got the ends/scraps, barely enough to even send it out to a customer. I picked out every single little piece. It was super processed. It was fatty. It was not grilled nor chipotle like the menu description said. Very very bad $ 9+ salad So basically, get pizza! Prices are fair. Delivery was fair. Pizza was good

On the plus side, they have Diet Dr Pepper among other choices. GARLICJIM’S smelled like garlic, which was a good thing. It would be weird if it smelled like cinnamon or vanilla. This place was just okay. The sauce had a weird barbecue twang to it. My daughter tried the gluten-free crust… just so-so. This is more of an order-out than dine-in type of place. And the staff was not unfriendly or friendly. I guess I can sum it up as so-so. I’m not inclined to put this on my favorites list.

Great sauce for the most part. The ingredients were exceptional. Came by after 4 on a Monday(military discount on mondays) and not very busy. Friendly staff and gets busy by 430. Had the Hercules and wasn’t disappointed. Cost is 20 to 30 range. Pricey but good.

Not bad pizza, but not great either. Way too much dough and lacks flavor in the sauce. If the dough was just a little thinner and maybe a nice hint of fresh basil in the sauce would make all the difference. Side note to owner– you could actually save money by cutting back on the dough weight in each pizza. The weight is way to heavy to enjoy! #missingthatNYStyle

I had the Sicilian. I like the crust. I like the sauce. I like the toppings. So yeah, I liked the pizza! The staff was friendly and helpful. I mistakenly ordered a medium instead of a personal sized and that took longer, but that was my fault. Well, I say fault; now I have more pizza for later! I will have to try other things from the menu, so I will definitely be back.

Garlic Jim’s «Gourmet» Pizza. Hmm, well, gourmet is so subjective… While the pizza was perfectly edible I’m not sure«gourmet» is the appropriate adjective to describe this level of pizza. I recently purchased a Groupon for this place. I think Groupons are a great way to introduce people to your product or service. And considering the price I paid, I really have no complaints about the quality of pizza I received. Now, had I paid full price, I might have been a tad more critical. There menu has a variety of different pizzas and of course you can pick and choose your toppings, too. They also have some salads, and breadsticks. They offer a thin crust, a regular crust, and a gluten-free crust for a couple of bucks more. The young guy that took my order was very pleasant and efficient. He answered my questions and didn’t give me and grief. That’s always a bonus. I got Their signature pizza, the first one on their list. It had a variety of meat and vegetable toppings. In my opinion, the toppings were good but unremarkable. Nothing about the toppings stood out as extraordinary and conversely, nothing stood out as «ewww!» My toppings were pretty evenly distributed over the pizza unlike another Unilocaler’s pizza(see his pic). The one thing I did find quite distinctive about Garlic Jim’s pizza is the sauce — their sauce was quite sweet in my opinion. You order at the counter and then take a seat. They have the typical self-serve soda bar just around the corner from the counter. Also around the corner you’ll find a some tables and the restrooms. Overall, a decent but pedestrian pizza with a slightly sweet sauce. It’s ok if it’s in your neighborhood but I’m not driving out of my way for it. Oh, they deliver.

Decent food which is much better than the chain pizza restaurants. It’s the same price for as many toppings as you like, so get it your way! Restaurant appears clean & well kept & staff was very friendly.

For my gluten free peeps… they have it here! We heard about this place thru a groupon. What a deal for a great pizza. I have had many pizzas from many different places. It’s no Chicago pizza. But… it is amazing. Fresh ingredients!!! Crust is good!!! Sauce is pretty good. The staff was friendly. We will ever back for sure!

Saw the reviews before I decided to try Garlic Jim’s. I can’t say I agree with all the slamming, but maybe I just had a better experience. I got the coupons in the mail too, which prompted me to order the large, hand-tossed one topping for $ 8. I called and placed my order for a carry-out, and the order was taken correctly. Jim’s told me the pie would be ready in 20 minutes, so I set a counter on my phone and walked in right at 20 minutes, and the pizza was already waiting for pickup. While it’s true that the cashiers seem a bit new to the whole thing, this likely will get better with experience. Walking in also gave me a chance to check out the interior, which was a dramatically contemporary change from the Kennedy’s Chicago Pizza that was there before. Very clean and neat. As for the pizza, it was delicious and excellently made, with no lack of cheese that was noted by another previous reviewer — this also included a healthy portion of my topping, bacon, which covered the entire pie. In all, I’m happy with Jim’s and it’s definitely a welcome alternative to the chain pizzerias.

I am amazed by people who write reviews and don’t read details. If they did, they’d know that the health score was entirely technical and had nothing to do with the food here or food prep. It’s a new restaurant and there were technical glitches… that’s it. The pizza is delicious and service is good.

Don’t eat here if you want to get sick. My Wife and I did two weeks ago, and now we know why. They had 28 demerits on their latest health score. Scroll through till the end:

I returned for an attempt to upgrade my original review. The service was very good. I got a medium pizza. Joe said the pizza would be ready 15 – 20 minutes, and it sure was. This is better than the first time. The pizza was soo good. Quality cheese. I got a queen megherita with extra cheese. I love the cheese that stretches. Decided on the thin crust, nice and crunchy. Loved it. I have a picture of the pizza from the first time, and from the second time. There is a huge difference. The owner, Dallin, responded to my first review. That speak volumes of concern. That alone is worthy of visiting the store. I leave 1 star out because there were no pepper packets again. But that should not stop you from tasting some good pizza.
