Gorgeous Nails

This is the only place I will go! Susie is awesome. I go in to get fills done and the price is extremely reasonable. The salon is clean and they have a lot of colors to choose from. Susie is very sweet and I always enjoy talking to her. She knows exactly how I like my nails done. The one time I went somewhere else, I was overcharged and they did not come out as well as she does them. I recommend this salon to anyone who likes pretty nails and not spending a fortune.

First time here and I loved it! The nail technicians were extremely helpful and very kind and my nails turned out exactly how I wanted them. Full almond set was $ 30.

I have really been looking for someone who could leave my acrylic nails looking natural but have yet to find the right salon or the right manicurist. What felt like a never ending search for the right salon led me into Gorgeous Nail. I was very hesitant at first since most salons aren’t exactly well known for their «customer service» skills and too often make you feel uncomfortable and more like an uisance then a guest. But my experience there was great! Susie my nailists, was not only nice and easy to talk too, but respectful and very well spoken. I can honestly say my lunch time was very well spent and the price made it even better!!! Gorgeous Nail will defiantly be my new Go-​To spot! And Susie my new Go-​To girl!!!

I had been running around the area trying to find a quick but nice place to get my nails done and I decided to run in here because my friend recommended it. Honestly, at first I did not think I was going to like this place, but as the time progressed I liked it. I forgot who my manicurist was but she was great! Very sweet and she loved to make conversation, she seemed to be the owner I think. I got just a basic manicure for $ 13 and I couldn’t be more pleased. She took her time and didn’t ever hurt me. They do have a small selection of nail polish though. Oh and they have a special going on right now, all I can remember is that a full set is $ 25, Anyway, I will definitely return again!

I was a little nervous walking in, because the salon was very outdated. To my pleasure, the nail technician did an excellent job on my pedicure! I cannot give 5 stars, because the massage chair didn’t work and there weren’t a lot of color choices.

I have acrylic nails and I went to Susie for a little over a year for my manicures. She does a decent job and the price is reasonable.
Susie is a nice person but her problem is that she does your nails the way she wants them done, not the way you request. I prefer rounded corners but she says those are for old people and always made mine square. After a while I gave up asking her to round them.
She also doesn’t want to use light color polishes in the winter or dark ones in the summer. Well, I like dark red and I like pale lavender and I like them both all year round, but Susie doesn’t see it that way and it takes an argument to get what you want.
The final straw was when I asked her to skip the polish because I knew I had things to do immediately after leaving there and I would mess it up. All I wanted was no color but she whined like a baby and pestered me so much that I gave up and let her do it. She uses four coats — base, two color, and one top — and it takes a long time to dry. Even after 12 minutes in the dryer, it wasn’t dry and sure enough I ruined it before I got home.
That was the day I decided to never return to Gorgeous Nails. There are other places very nearby that will give me what I want.
A customer should not have to beg and plead with a manicurist to get the service she is paying for. As long as you let Susie do what she wants, you will be fine, but if you want something different you will have a problem.

Nice salon but the guy who did my pedicure can’t neatly polish to save his life. There was polish on my skin and the polish on my toes looked runny. Also, they don’t have a wide range of colors to pick from. Not everyone wants pink. Was not worth the price.

The main lady is rude she doesn’t do any nail designs and she overcharges. I paid alot for regular nails and pedicure and the nails messed up (broke) within a week. Not a big nail polish color selection to choose from. Raquel is a very nice lady and treated me alot better than the main old lady. I only give it 2 stars for the Raquel lady.

Dropped my mother-​in-​law off here (she is particular about her pedicures and gets them done often). The price was great and she told me she was very happy with the service. It looks to me like they did a very nice job. I’ll be trying them out soon.

My wife and I went in for mani/​pedis. They did a very good job. They are a husband and wife team on a Saturdays. It is a very small salon, but great service and great price. They’ve been doing this for a long time, and it shows. If I were to give it any faults it would be that it is an older place, they only have two pedi chairs and the chairs look like they’ve seen some milage. Although I’m sure everything is very clean, with the age of everything, your mind makes you think that it might not be as clean as a brand new shop and chairs. Would we go back… Absolutely!

Great service. They don’t jab your cuticles to just get it done; took their time. Actually communicate with you instead of talking amongst themselves in their language. They don’t have a message chair though. Family own business. $ 35 for manicure and pedicure.

Good service for the price. Mani/​Pedi is only 35… They are very nice, I’ve been there 2 in the past, (1 last yr and 2^nd time 2 months ago) and she can still remember me.

Let me start by adding this is my very first review on Unilocal and was impressed with this salon and decided to write one… I was very satisfied with the service I received. I didn’t have an appointment so I called and they let me come in… and the salon was very clean. I had the Shellac manicure done. The price was very reasonable. My manicurist’s name is Susie. Very beautiful and professional. I’m very glad I found them. Will definitely be a returning customer.

I live just around the corner from this shop and thought I’d give it a try. Am so glad I did! I had a pedicure, it was quick and affordable. Susie was great, very friendly and welcoming. I had my 2 year daughter with me, she sat on my lap and read the books that we had brought along, and it wasn’t a problem. Susie told me she’s been there for 11 years, so it’s good to know it’s an established business. I will definitely be going back.

Listened to the review before me & she was right! I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service! I had Susie & she was great! I highly reccommend this place she did a wonderful job & treated me so well! You won’t regret it!
