Hancock Fabrics is within the Brooks City Base shopping center. The store itself is easy to navigate around. I found prices to be a bit on the higher side. However, it seems like there is plenty of sales that are o ffered. Therefore, I was comfortable with the price of some ribbons that I was purchasing. Once I got to the front clerk, the price rung up incorrectly. When I mentioned the price was shown differently on the tag, the clerk mentioned that the system knows the price and that is the price. I kindly asked her if I could show her on the wall and of course I could of been mistaken, but I wanted to be sure. She came with me to see that the price that I had mentioned was indeed the«correct price», so she had to manually adjust the price. She was nice enough about it, but I just thought it was a bit funny how she did not ask at first to look at price or offer some other explanation other than«the system always knows». I still won’t count this has a «bad» experience as I find the ribbons that I was looking for and«adjusted» price was fine, but I just wanted to share with Unilocal community.
