Oh my: the Initial Tree Gallery!
Suffused with light and color, this gallery showcases the work of artist/​owner Alex Yamin — paintings of trees with initials and dates (customized, of course — and perfect for commemoration of a special occasion or event) — as well as ornaments, sun-​catchers, tapestries, decorative pottery, whimsical decorations… and everything in-​between. Initial Tree also carries the work of mother-​and-​daughter artists Ruth McNay and Linda Harp, who create Celtic crosses and facades of the San Antonio Missions. Everything is tasteful, pretty, and beautifully exhibited.
Located in the gorgeous Los Patios complex, Initial Tree has a stellar staff and wonderful gifts. To be completely honest, this is the very FIRST place I’ll shop for presents from here on out.
