Joe’s Crab Shack

Food and service was great. Pretty standard Joe’s crab shack.
Texting notification of your table-​so that you can wander around the riverwalk while waiting for a table was nice as well.

The food is basic and a more rustic version of Red Lobster. If you want to pay mid-​price for low quality food this is the place.
For the money do yourself a favor and actually dine at a more specialized seafood restaurant.

Striking out on the river walk. Came in around 10:20 and didn’t leave until after midnight with 3 servers and only 5 – 6 tables occupied.
Our waitress was also the bartender (Why? I don’t know). She was friendly, but very nonchalant about everything. She didn’t write anything down and she definitely needed to. We placed our drink orders and then she came back missing one drink because she couldn’t remember. We placed our food order while she was there (also didn’t write that down). When she came back with the missing drink she had to verify what the kids meal was because she couldn’t remember that either. It took way too long for our food to come out, but when it finally did I placed a togo order. We finish our meals and 5 – 10 minutes later she comes back to clear our plates. We ordered some dessert (which also took a super long time) and when she brought that back she also brought the ticket. I noticed I wasn’t charged for the togo order… Uh-​oh… Yep, she forgot it. After 10 minutes of trying to get her attention I finally let her know about the mistake. She tells me it will take 4 minutes and it should be right out… More than 10 minutes later here comes my togo order. She takes my card and it literally takes her another 10 minutes to close out my ticket! Really disappointed, but thankful for some of the other waitresses that tried to pick up her slack.
On the plus side, my grilled shrimp was really good…

On the Riverwalk. Food could have been great if cooked all the way. Drinks great! $ 2 Hurricanes on Tuesday. Worth it!
