Excellent staff and affordable prices! Discounts for bringing your own food and being affiliated with the military. Our pup spent the weekend with Jo and we had no reservations. She is so sweet. I can’t wait to spend another weekend out town because I don’t have to worry about finding a place to board him!

Jo is wonderful! I am from Austin and didn’t want to keep my pup (husky) locked up in the hotel room over the weekend.
We found Karma’s cozy kennel and Spaw here on Unilocal.I’m so glad I found them. She treated my boy so well! It’s such a relief to find a wonderful kennel. I just wish I could find more place like this! Even her son was saying how much fun he had with my dog! I can’t express in words how wonderful they are. So patient, very clean, organized. Bruno will be coming back!

Thanks Jo for taking such good care of Jazzie this weekend. I know she was well taken care of.

We were in town visiting family and Mike, our Miniature Long Haired Dachshund, was in serious need of a good, thorough cleaning and nail trim. We are in the process of moving and regretfully, Mike was beginning to look a bit shabby, poor guy. Normally we bathe him at home but he needed his nails trimmed as well (they are all black and I am always afraid of cutting too close). I was going to take him to Petco as we have done in the past but recalled seeing a sign for pet grooming. I read the Unilocal review and gave the shop a call to get a feel for the place. Jo, the owner, put me at ease. She explained that she would let Mike «hang out» for a while, to play with him, kinda get to know him and vice-​versa. I was also concerned about his Dachshund personality, possibly, making an appearance. But Jo assuaged my worries by letting me know that she is quite familiar with Dachshunds and that some of them are rather stubborn. Sweet… but stubborn. Jo was very personable on the phone so I decided to take a chance and am so glad I did. When we arrived to pick up Mike, I noticed how at ease he was. Jo said that Mike did very well and was very well behaved and let her use the rotary tool to file his nails (I forget the name of the tool). And the icing on the cake was the price! About $ 14 (not including the tip). Jo’s ten years of experience is evident and I highly recommend this shop.

Karma and Britney are very good at what they do. I came in this morning because I saw the sign and decided to take my pup to some where new. I first came in and Karma greeted me like I was family. And she greeted Roxy like she was hers. Roxy wasn’t too willing to go with her to the back because she’s a very shy dog but when I came back to pick her up she was very happy and smelled so good!
The prices are super cheap. I used to go to petsmart and Lucy’s. But now I won’t go to any other place.
They are very brand new and still in the works. When you enter the shop it’s so warm and cozy and cute inside.
I give this 5 stars. And I would keep going just because my dog was so happy. But it only allows 5 stars.
Go to this new dog groomers! You will be happy! Or you can comment negative stuff on this post but I promise you will be happy cause they are nice and cheap!
