Stopped by this place after passing it by for more than a year and today curiousity got the best of me. I picked up a jalapeño cheese and sausage crosaint, couple of sausage and cheese kolaches, a chorizo quiche’ and a few pecan bites. Also got free delicious coffee. It was definitely worth stopping in. Kolaches were soft fluffy and delicious, the crosaint was flaky and crispy on the exterior and soft and fluffy on the inside. If you enjoy chorizo and egg then you will like the chorizo quiche. Pecan bites were also great, crispy on the top and soft on the bottom with a big pecan flavor. Definitely worth it.

Showed up at 740am and half of the things we wanted were not ready. If you open at 7am you think everything would be made by 740am? We could only order 3 items and we were charged 10 dollars for 3? One croissant, one Kolache and one quiche. The only thing that was worth the paying for was the chorizo quiche.

This place seems very sketchy. First of all they have to buzz you in after they see you through their security cameras. I have attempted to eat breakfast here twice and each time I go nobody answers the door. I am going on school mornings and their sign clearly says OPEN. There are also never any cars in the small lot of this place either. Can’t a girl just get a kolache?

Was looking for a place in San Antonio for my kolache fix. Found it here. The food is great, and the people are very kind.

The place is small but not hard to find. If you are looking for a café style experience, this is not the place to be. Don’t expect any fufu coffee, they only have brewed coffee with only non dairy creamer. WHATTHEYDOHAVE is some of the best Croissants, Danish and Kolaches. Been wanting to try this place and was not disappointed. If you like your Croissants buttery and not flaky, this is the place. I I got the croissant sausage with cheese and it was awesome. Sooo good when I burned, I could still taste the buttery croissant… I know… gross! But hey it was good! I was hungry so I went for more and got my hands on a slice of breakfast pizza… my God it was good! It was sausage cheese jalapeño pizza(square not triangle). Definitely recommend if your feeling something like that. As I was eating, heard would learn they were about to bake some cinnamon rolls, picture a dog with its ears going up… that was me and couldn’t resist. A gifted baker is hard to find. We found one in San Antonio’s Southtown. So much more than Kolaches. The pecan muffins and macaroons are just sublime. They also bake beautiful cake balls for special events. I urge you to check this little place out. You won’t be sorry.

Tasty pastries and super friendly service. My son loves to come by here for snacks and morning food. This is a lovely family who run turgid business and they have a nice product.

My sons exact quote when eating the ham & cheese quiche«this was made with love.» Great little shop close to D’town hotels for a quick to go breakfast.(They’ve got their own parking) The owner was very nice and I’ll certainly return when back in San Antonio.

This place is fantastic. It is my favorite pastry shop in all SA and I can’t believe it is in the location it has. Open up in the Med Center where I live and it will make zillions of dollars. Quick note for those not from here — there are two types of kolaches: fruit kolaches are like a Danish and sausage kolaches are like pig in blanket but with different dough and a sausage inside. I bought b’fast for my office as a holiday treat and tried a cherry kolache, strawberry kolache, sausage kolache and pecan treat(crumble — I am not sure the name here). The pecan treat was one of the best things I have ever eaten. It looks like a tiny muffin. The owner gave me one for free because I was buying so much and next time I am just buying a bunch of those. It was very crumbly, moist and super pecan flavored. Perfect balance of savory and sweet. The fruit kolaches were also spectacular. The bread is doughy and the filling not overly jam flavored — more like a pie filling with chunky bits of fruit. The sausage kolache was good but nothing compared to others sold here. Clearly I will be going back!

This is a great little breakfast place and pastry shop. I try to stop by at least once a week. The owner and staff are very friendly and are bilingual. Try it and you won’t be disappointed!

Great breakfast place call in order or use Bike Waiter. The Chirizo Quiches are my personal favorite. Nice friendly staff and owner. Reward program for frequent customers too. Small little place but packs a yummy mouth full.
