Just a big ham sandwich:(not what I was expecting after all the hype. The sandwich was fine but nothing to get excited about. I won’t be back.

Best Cuban food I have found in my travels of Texas. I eat here every Saturday for lunch when I am in San Antonio. The people are very nice and owner always has you taste the foods.

My husband and I came here with a recommendation from a Cuban friend in town. The place is tiny tiny tiny… Only two tables to eat outside so be prepared to take the food home. My husband and I are both from Miami and we DO know our Cuban food. They offer Cuban sandwiches, croquettas and some traditional Cuban sides/entrees. Couple of things: Food — Good but not great. Cuban sandwich was VERY good. Sides and entrees need some more love. We got there around 5:30(peak dinner times usually?) and they only offered arroz congris(black beans with rice), yuca, beans and more rice. I was really hoping for some maduros or tostones, maybe malanga, just a little bit more. They only had some fried pork as the entrée, what it definitely was very tasty. Service — what? No service whatsoever. The older lady looked annoyed to see us, even with my husband being a friendly Cuban to her lol. She was constantly on the phone instead of taking our order. Finally I think the owner came in and he was a little bit friendlier. My advice, just get the Cuban Sandwich. It was great. I would love for them to up their game on the Cuban sides, then I’ll be back.

Went for dinner and was surprised there was no indoor seating. There are two tables out front, so lucky for us it was a nice night. At dinner, the owner focuses on Cuban sandwiches. I wasn’t exactly thrilled to eat a sandwich but went with it. We order 3 for two adults and two kids(6, 12). Boy were we impressed! There wasn’t a crumb left. We’d definitely visit again!

Super tasty food. We drove around for about an hour looking for something different and worth paying for. Stopped in and didn’t regret it. The place only has 2 tables outside but don’t let that stop you from dropping in. The woman with blonde hair and glasses convinced us to buy a little bit of everything and it was great advice. She was super friendly and let us sample almost everything. I extremely recommend this place.

william p, they definitely come with pickles. This place is amazing. Sandwiches are always on-point. Fairly inexpensive too. They made me a sandwich after-hours tonight to boot.

Inigualable sabor criollo apegado a Las raises Latinas y Caribeñas, en una fusion de olores textura y sabor deliciosos que emergen de la combination de yerbas, carnes vegetales y especias muy bien combinadas.

Cubanos shouuld have pickles in the sandwich, and these do not. The meat and bread is perfect but we sincerely miss the pickles. And one of the photos looks like they used to be there; bring them back.

The steak sandwich consisted of steak, cheese, fries, ham, and garlic mayo. The bread was crispy just how I like it. The mayo was so good, my tastebuds thanked me. It’s a hole in the wall establishment owned by husband and wife. Be patient, food might take while since there’s only two workers.
