Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse of San Antonio

I am done with this store, my shopping will be done elsewhere. It’s highly inefficient and the staff are rude and lethargic. I hear them talking bad about other employees and lolly gagging along. The last straw was a young man-​child punk in the garden area with a huge attitude. I had to wait 30 minutes to get some stuff loaded up into my van, because I have a bad back — I guess I was imposing on him. Wished I could remember his name so I could complain (like it would do any good) I just wanted to get home and off my feet.
Cutting up my credit card. Not shopping there or any Lowes anymore. They’ve gone downhill anyway the past couple of years in pricing.
I have a NEW Home Depot actually closer to me and I haven’t bought a tool in there in gosh knows how long.

Managers are awesome and always willing to take time out of their day to make sure your concerns are addressed… However the front end «customer service representatives» are dismissive and uninformative. It is as if you are bothering them on their personal time. Not friendly and not accountable. It’s always someone else’s job. You know what I mean? Love the store and managers.

The only reason they get 1 star is because I can’t give zero. Sunday 6÷7÷15, Bought a Fridge, a stove, and a front door. Thousands of dollars. The fridge was to be delivered Tuesday 6÷9÷15 between 8 – 12. We made it clear that the fridge was a priority due to it being for my 82 year old mother in law who had been without a fridge for 2 weeks prior to that. The stove was setup to be delivered 6÷29÷15. Tuesday 6÷9÷15. fridge was a no show. Mom called and Lowes said it was to be delivered with the stove on the 29^th. Not correct as we had to do 2 separate transactions. Out paperwork shows the delivery date to be the 9^th. The manager promised that they would deliver the fridge that night, ⁶⁄₉ by 1030. again a no show. called Wednesday morning and it was promised to be delivered that day by 5. another lie. kept calling, kept getting promises and lies. My 82 yr old mother in law went to lowes to get an answer and they told her it would be delivered Thursday, guess what… LIE. Now its friday morning 6÷12÷15, and after driving to San Antonio from Austin they say they cant deliver it until Sunday. THE PUNK MANAGER WOULD NOT EVEN COME OUT AND TALK TO US. Sent an employee to do his dirty work. they offered a 10% discount. Unacceptable. We cancelled everything and got a refund and are heading to Home Depot where we should have went in the first place. Lowes sucks. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING AT ALL FROM LOWES.

My husband likes to go to this location more. Service is great. Facilities are same as any other lowes. This location has a tool rental in front which is great if you need that auger or cement mixer lol. I always check out the clearance plants at the back of the garden center. Most plants are just sad because they just need to be transplanted. Check out what treasures in natural beauty awaits you.

STAFF SUCKS… but had what I needed even if I had to find it myself because they had no clue where it was.

Bought my laminate wood floors here about 8 months ago. They had a special deal going where install was only $ 250.00. You could only get the deal on special order floors, which were more expensive then the floors they had in stock. But we loved one of the floors they had in stock. Our flooring expert worked out a deal were we «special ordered it» and gave us the same in store, in stock price. OUTSTANDING! They sent a repair crew out that leveled our floors (filling low spots in and grinding high spots down. These guys are efficient, honest and hard workers. They knocked out the entire house in 10 hrs. My wife saw the floors (it was a surprise) and she cried. How can it get any better! Thanks Lowes, especially my lowes. You guys rock!

Lowes will never be known for their customer service. You can go into the store and see a million staff members and never get helped. But, if you do manage to bug an employee and sucker them into helping you they are very knowledgable.

There are many things I like about Lowe’s and most of the time they have what I want but when they don’t I go to the other guy, Both have stuff the other guy doesn’t. Lowe’s’ does have better lighting options and select lumber. I also like the hardware better here. On the other hand I don’t like the quality of their paint (yes even the premium) and higher prices. So it’s pretty even with that other lumber store.

Great prices and I love that they do a everyday 10% discount to military. Real slow and not very knowledgable customer service.
Have waited almost 40 min to be helped before.

Ya go in. Ya git what ya want. Organized and clean. Just avoid the self-​checkout lines. Support humans.

In terms of home improvement, I’m kind of a do it yourselfer. I have now spent more time at this Lowe’s than I have spent at any home improvement store, ever. I am somewhat of a plumbing guru and have spent countless hours testing the knowledge of Ray, their expert in the plumbing department. What I really like about Ray is that he’s a former professional plumber so he really knows what he’s talking about. Kudos to Lowes for hiring someone with relevant skillsets!
I’ve purchased everything at this place. I’ve never had an issue returning something I didnt need, I’ve always found what I was looking for (and then some) and I’m always met with people like Ray, who take the time and effort to teach novices like me how to do things the right way.
