Massage Heights – Bulverde Marketplace

Came in for a «deep tissue», had a really bad knot my back and could barely turn my neck to the right. Had an hour with one of the masseurs and felt 80% back to normal. She did a very good job focusing on the trigger point. I still had some soreness but given the time she had, she did work wonders on my back. I believe her name was «Susan»…(although not totally sure) I was in uncomfortable pain when I arrived and hardly listened to what they were saying, I was just like «take my money, please fix me!» Lol

I am very disappointed. I scheduled a nice couples massage for my husband and I for his birthday. I have never been here before and I had high expectations for the massage. When we arrived they told us that they had called us 20 min prior to tell us that our massage therapist went home sick earlier in the morning. I would have expected more of a notice telling us we wouldn’t be able to get the massage or they should of had a back up massage therapist available. I am highly disappointed. I will not be going back to this massage heights. I will be going to a different one to reschedule my appointment and that is only because it is already paid for.

Very disappointed in our massage session today. My husband and I frequent massage heights every time we seek out a massage. This was our first time at this location, and it will probably be our last. Our massage appointment was scheduled at 12pm and we came in at 12:02 and were rushed to get into our rooms because we arrived late. We then got in our rooms and started our massages at 12:10. My husbands massage therapist was asking him about pressure and how comfortable he was, mine never said a word. We also booked a 90 minute massage and was excited about it because we have only had a 60 minute massages in the past. But I really needed a lot of work done on my shoulders, I have lots of aches and pains in that area. So I did voice to my therapist that I specifically booked an extra 30 minutes just so she could concentrate on that area alone. Well, she decided to ignore me and only work on my whole back area and maybe worked on my shoulders for all of 5 minutes. Now to the end of the massage I look up at the clock to see its only 1:20 and they’re both done. So I do understand we were a couple of minutes late and the massage started at 12:10. But even if they had to time it starting at 12 we should have been done at 1:30. So hand on massage was really only 65 minutes long. Then as we walk out of the room my massage therapist doesn’t say a single word to me again. Just goes into the room to clean while my husbands therapist talks to him about post massage. This was suppose to be a birthday present from my husband, but unfortunately we were disappointed by our choice in location.

I love this location! I think it depends on who you get, because when I went to another location I didn’t like the technique of the person I got, but when I came here I got AARON and he is the best massage therapist I’ve had since when I left Pennsylvania!

My wife and I experienced our first couple’s massage today. Friendly staff; nice, ambient atmosphere, very relaxing. Massage was awesome! That is all.

My wife and I are celebrating our 6 year anniversary and decided to start our day with a massage. When we first walked in, it was more transactional and hectic than we expected. Then when we were introduced to our massagists, the experience became more personal. They were very courteous, accommodating, attentive and needless to say, great at their profession. This visit was great and will be repeat by us very soon.
