Wholesale-ish prices on real furniture tucked away in grotto of Lincoln Heights. This ‘find’ with young and very helpful and accommodating staff makes shopping for a piece what it should be and not the big box or slimy-chain-hawking, as soon as you walk in the door. Comfortable. Relaxed. Almost an extension of the casual millennial nature of Internet shopping in brick and mortar clothes. Lots of «off-broadway» choices of dressers, coffee and side and dining tables, side and tall tables, some mirrors, and cabinets. Dark and light wood, distressed and colored, traditional and urban cool. It’s my new place for furniture ‘comfort food.’

It is located in the same strip center as Torchys tacos, so great location. I went inside looking for a new lamp, and mirror. I didn’t see any lamps, and the mirror selection was small, maybe 10 different ones to choose from. I did purchase a mirror, and it was identical in style and price to the one I saw at hobby lobby earlier in the week. I would say the store is made up of mostly dining tables, consoles, and other wooden furniture accents. When I start shopping for a new table I will definitely return, as the prices were reasonable. $ 300-$ 600 for a wooden farm table.(Chairs not included.)

My mom saw this place on Facebook and I happened by it on accident today. What a happy accident! I couldn’t pick anything up because we’re a week short of move in to our new house and my one year old was all over the place, but we will most definitely be back for a credenza for the television and possibly some smaller pieces that I just couldn’t pass up if I had a place to put them! There are some gorgeous mirrors hanging up that would be perfect dress up bathroom pieces, and I am a huge fan of the wooden farm-type dining room tables. It looks like Nadeau is still stocking up on some more pieces too; the back corner was closed off with a sign, so I’ll be looking forward to that too! I was impressed that the prices were reasonable. I would much rather purchase here than at a major furniture retailer or department store. The attendants were busy with a customer, but they let us browse around in peace and were very friendly when we came back around to the front! My Unilocal rating system: 5 stars= Driving across town just for this! 4 stars= I would recommend visiting. 3 stars= Average, acceptable, positive. 2 stars= You might be able to drag me in. 1 star= I will definitely not be returning.
