Stopped by this location simply because they had a drive-thru. Ordered at the speaker and didn’t wait long at all for my food. The transaction went smoothly and I received everything I asked for and plenty of soy sauce after being asked if I needed anything extra. I dealt only with the young man at the window but he was polite and cheerful. I got my usual size plate, the double entrée with rice or chow mein. I chose the noodles and usually do. Glad I didn’t have to face corn in the fried rice — what nonsense! I got the Bejing Beef and the Kung Pao Chicken. Got plenty of each item and a good portion of chow mein. As usual, I used the extra soy sauce on the noodles — I find them dry otherwise plus it adds a bit of good flavor. Everything was tasty, the beef with a touch of crispiness that’s sometimes missing. The Kung Pao includes chunks of squash that I don’t care for but I ate some of it and it wasn’t bad. Finished everything they gave me and was well-filled. Was pretty much a perfect meal when I really needed one. I wish my Panda Express on S.E. Military had a drive-thru, I’d visit more often.

So upset! I go here ALL the time, and normally service is so good and friendly. April gives my fiancé great service, and David has a great attitude. However, today they messed up my order and I drove home with it, then went back to get what they forgot to put in the bag; instead of replacing the items, April actually argued with me about it. Luckily David seemed to know he might have forgotten and started bagging it up. What a bummer. We are weekly, sometimes twice a week customers(we have busy work schedules!). You would think they could just give us 2 $ 1 items they forgot to bag. Then when I get home and tell my fiancé about the whole thing, he tells me that another employee had made a comment when he was ordering about HOW much we order! Little did she know that the two entrée sides of chicken are for our dog; he eats well! It would be ok if it was a one time thing, but lately they’re always forgetting something and it’s getting worse and worse. We honestly probably won’t be back to this location because we’re moving, and it stinks to go out on this note. It was one of our fav weekly spots! Took their rating down from a 5(we drive past another location to go here) to a 3(average). My Unilocal rating system: 5 stars= Driving across town just for this! 4 stars= I would recommend visiting. 3 stars= Average, acceptable, positive. 2 stars= You might be able to drag me in. 1 star= I will definitely not be returning.

I am not typically fond of drive thru Chinese food, but my boss and friend told me she had some good soup and rice from Panda Express, so today I went to the one nearest me to give it a go. My appetite has been off lately, so I try to respect the cravings I do have. Today’s was for hot and sour soup. I pulled up to the drive through but didn’t see the soup on the menu. The very friendly employee taking my order assured me they had two sizes of the soup, both at extremely reasonable prices, so I ordered a small. Individual servings of fried rice, I asked next? Sure, she said, and again, awesome price for a good sized serving. I spent a whopping $ 4.60 or so for both and was handed a hefty little bag that felt more like I’d ordered an entrée. I headed home, feeling like even if the food wasn’t great, I hadn’t been ripped off and spent a fortune. Imagine my surprise when both items were delicious! The soup was hot and had that lovely sour bite that it should have. Sometimes restaurants make hot and sour soup kind of sweet, which I don’t like. This one was perfect, taste wise. Only things I’d change are the mushrooms, which I’d use less of and ensure were always fresh, and the tofu, which I’d cut smaller and simmer longer so that it absorbs more flavor. I’d also use more black pepper, but that’s strictly personal preference. As for the rice, also very good. Very light with lots of veggies and egg but no meat at all. I combined the two, soup and rice, and inhaled it all. For the price, this meal was near perfect. Next time, I may sample an entrée. If the quality matches up, I just may become a convert to fast Chinese food!
