Look no further for a the best hairdresser in San Antonio. I have never been happier with a hairdresser. Peter is the best. He is located at Truesdell Salon on Huebner Road. His prices are reasonable and I have never walked out of there unhappy. I got married in Austin in December and he even drove there to do our hair — now that’s what I call service.

There’s NO ONE else I trust with my hair! Peter knows what he is doing and it’s always a special day to be seen by him. I’ve been his client for almost ten years. I constantly get asked about my haircut (normally short think Halle Berry or Carey Mulligan) and receive many compliments and inquiries about who cuts my hair. He’s an expert with his scissors and transforms my full head of hair into a sleek polished look by his skill. He also colors my hair and it looks natural (I’m covering gray). Color and cut $ 85 (w/​o tip) which is indeed a great price, but that’s not why I go there.

Peter has cut my hair on and off for ten years now, and I have never been at all displeased with his skills. He has been with several different salons in the area, and now leases a space at Truesdell Salon across from Huebner Oaks. He has done short cuts on me as well as long cuts, bangs, and color (highlights and lowlights), and I have loved all of it. Even better, his services are totally affordable– a cut and color runs me $ 85 plus tip. In a city where salon services can easily run upwards of $ 100 for basic cuts, Peter is an absolute gem. He is professional, friendly, and knows how to work those scissors!
