Very clean, well run airport bar and grill. Although I didn’t try the food, it seemed to come out quickly and everyone seemed happy with it. The bartender(Melissa) was actually running bar and serving as waitress for the tables on this side of the grill. She had many customers who acted like they were the only ones there and they just barked out their orders. Like, give me this, give me another that, etc. She had great patience and never seemed to get agitated or annoyed. She was also able to keep up with orders at the bar as well as the table orders.

I was seriously disappointed. As often as I come thru this airport I have always wanted to try this place. Bad choice. Got the chicken flautus — awful. Poor excuse for texmex. The wraps were so tough I could not bite through them. Felt like I was gnawing on a bone. The chicken inside was dry dry and crispy dry. I complained and she brought me chips and salsa. Another epic fail. Must be timing. Food is not for dinner. Maybe it was sitting here all day and that’s why it is so bad. Very disappointed.

Quesadillas tasted and looked like they were frozen and then microwaved, but I wasn’t surprised by that. What I was surprised by was when I asked for my alcohol and food to be on a separate tab, and the bar tender told me that wasn’t possible… I asked if there was a manager that might be able to help… but that wasn’t possible either. SURELY an airport restaurant would have the ability to separate a beer from a dinner tab, considering how many business travelers can’t turn in receipts with alcohol on them. Definitely won’t be back. #annoyed PS– If you’re the manager of this place, call me. You owe me dinner!

Open lounge-type atmosphere in the middle of the terminal. Like the name suggest this spot is more of a light meal/appetizer and drinks place so don’t expect a heavy menu here. I ordered the chips & salsa appetizer and the chicken flautas. Both were delish. For airport food, I was impressed. I’m a huge Mexican fan and honestly the salsa was some of the best I’ve ever had. It was early in the day so I didn’t have any drinks but I watched as the bartender prepared quite a few and they all looked tasty. Service was really good and the bill was just under $ 13 — which is awesome for an appetizer and entrée at the airport.

We ordered a Sangria while waiting to board; hit the spot, strong and refreshing. We enjoyed the chips and salsa/queso/guacamole platter. Waitress was very nice, and the service was fast. Nice place to have a drink and unwind before boarding.

I feel honored to be the very first customer. I had a flight out to Houston this morning, and I came across R Sala Bebida Botana Bar. It’s hard to find something worth eating in an airport — even a new one. I ordered the egg white frittata(egg whites, haricot asparagus, spinach, parmesan), and it was delicious. I didn’t even need to add salt, and I was extremely impressed with the portion. It was big enough so I could eat the entire thing and be satisfied, but it wasn’t gigantic, so I didn’t feel awful afterwards! They didn’t have coffee yet(again, grand opening a few hours prior), so I can’t comment on that, but I imagine the quality would be just as good(or you can just get a Starbucks, which is right next to the place). With my Diet Coke(gotta have caffeine in some form!) the total came to just over $ 11($ 8.49 for the frittata). Fast and friendly service and good food.
