I’ve been to faceless large department stores to have my watch batteries changed. It gets the job done but it also feels like a cold impersonal experience.
I stopped into Rainbow Jewelers Supply yesterday. It wasn’t my first time to see them but the way they treat me as a customer is why I keep going back. The watches sitting in my drawer run because those fine folks replace the batteries when each one goes out.
Yesterday I stopped in to have my metal rosary bead chain mended. Its normal place is dangling from my truck’s rear view window. It had become tangled with my sun shade liner one hot day. As I tugged on the shade, it snapped the rosary bean chain. Thanks to their expertise, I can again hang my metal rosary bead chain where it makes me happiest whenever I drive my old pickup truck.
They do fine work and for a fair price.
