The bathroom remodel looks great but I believe I was charged too much. Before my remodel was completed I asked our consultant to provide me with an itemized bill as to where my $ 23,000 was spent. My house is new. Re-bath removed the garden tub and extended the master shower, removed the existing two sinks, two faucets, framed the bathroom mirror and changed the overhead light fixture. Until now, I still do not have the itemized bill. I was told by Jason that it’s hard to itemize the bill because it would actually cost more if re-bath had to itemize the bill. Does not make sense. I called again this afternoon, we will see how long it will take for re-bath to provide me with a breakdown of how much I spent. I would not recommend using them to anyone. I have another bathroom to get done and will not use them again.

Their products looked nice and fresh so we gave them a call to come measure our space and give us an estimate on 2 bathrooms. Advertisements on television and online stressed how easy and simple they are to deal with so we decided to give them a shot. Had the estimator, Tony Parker, come out and review our 2 bathrooms. He said he would have us a quote in a few days. It has been 3 weeks and we have still not received a response. I have left several messages on Tony Parker’s cell and with the San Antonio office. Not going to earn my business with this kind of response time!!!

I don’t doubt that Rebath has great quality products and after calling some references they got good feedback, although one reference did warn us about the buttering up talk. I was not happy with the fact that a 6:30pm appt was scheduled, in which I thought would take an hour or so, did not end until 9:30pm. This«estimate» I asked for turned into a 3 hour presentation with a powerpoint and sales method that felt pressuring. Our consultant was a wonderfully nice guy but I know he could tell we were getting irritated, especially since we had already told him we hadn’t eaten dinner yet. The shocking thing was after 3 hours of telling us how great their products were and about the lifetime guarantee he presented us with a $ 9,600 price tag to remove a garden tub and separate shower and install a walk-in shower with a wall since the space was bigger then the shower. For that price I would expect and entire bathroom remodel not just the shower(especially in a mobile home). Again, very personable consultant but it felt like all that talk was to try and butter us up. The company needs to let people know that when they call for an estimate they need a 2 – 3 hour window. Again I’m sure that the finished product would be wonderful but I think they need to rethink their presentation method a little and prepare people because I was not happy that we didn’t eat diner until 10pm which is usually bed time.

Very disappointing, would rate in negative range if possible, and am irritated I have to give even 1-star to be able to post this rating. «Estimate» we received turned out to be an excruciating, 2−½ hour sales pitch, in which the«consultant» completely ignored the time frame we’d allowed for the«estimate» in our busy weekend. In the midst of 3 million references to alleged awards and company specifics, I stated I didn’t have concerns over the quality of the product, so I neither needed nor wanted the(tortuous) presentation to continue. Yet, it did. All I wanted was a price for a product I’d seen in the showroom, and researched a little on my own. What I hadn’t researched, however, was the sales technique, which, in my opinion, included various mind games, and strategies to help the«consultant» gauge my degree of sucker-tude, which, it felt, seemed to be used to price our desired project. C’mon, $ 7k for putting molded plastic around a new molded plastic bathtub? Ridiculous. We will not be using this product line in our home due to: 1). The obnoxious price; 2). The feeling that the sales pitch was one-size-fits-all(once started, it couldn’t be stopped, or modified, which I found irritating, and insulting), leading me to believe our project would be handled the same exact way, meaning, they’d give us what they’d give us, their way, period. I mean, if the product — and the service — is sooooo fantastic, why are prices such closely-guarded secrets, being revealed only after sales«hazing» is administered? And, we didn’t even learn a secret hand shake, even after enduring an «estimate» reminiscent of a time-share sales pitch, which at least includes a Vegas hotel room for your time. ReBath, there are plenty of other options available to me, and if you were the only show in town, I’d probably learn how to tackle this project myself, rather than have you do me the favor of taking my money.
