Ok, so I only went here because I had a gift card and was craving seafood. The only thing that I can say is that this is not the same Red Lobster as 20+ years ago! Disappointing, because there are not great places for crab legs.

I didn’t like asparagus tasted and with no problem they changed it to whatever side I wanted. The service here was impeccable it took care of my every restaurant service needs. Thank you Red Lobster

I had food Monday around 6pm, October 26. And omg it was amazing. Everything was picture perfect, and it came out at a reasonable time after we ordered. I had endless shrimp, and you have to try the cranberry sweet tea, its the bomb. The mash potatoes were so creamy, and the breads were so soft and warm… My server was on point, and she never ever forgot anything, and has a really awesome attitude. So happy with this location…

This review is from a week ago… I was pleasantly surprised on the staff, the communication, and service! 5 stars guys for you last Sunday!!! Haven’t been to Red Lobster in 10 years… I was really surprised at how great the food was, and the quantity with the price. They knock it out the park! Very pleasant dinner, tons of food, attentive staff, management… A+ guys! Will definitely be back when we are in town again. LOVEIT!!! Just beware of the location if you come on 410 East on the turnaround… hard to maneuver at times. Use your navigation, and you will be in for a great dinner/treat~~~ENJOY!!!

Took my better half to dinner, slow service and the waiter Julio forgot my lobster bisque. Sad for a trainer

Their food is so tasty! I always ask to go to Red Lobster when it’s my birthday. Something about the Seafood & Wine in a captivating ambiance that is sure to deliver an unforgettable dining experience!

Food/Taste: A I ordered the Crab Linguini Alfredo Supreme with a Caesar side salad and Sunset Passion Colada. The Caesar side salad was kind of bland/dry, but the Crab Linguini Alfredo Supreme more than made up for that! It had just the right amount of seasoning, the crab legs were meaty and I know it looked as hell of good as it tasted when I heard the lady behind me ask what I had just ordered haha. The Sunset Passion Colada was equally good — do yourself a favor and order one of these. It’s like a mental island getaway for your tonsils and mind: p. Order Accuracy: A Everything came out as ordered. Selection: A Red Lobster has always had a nice variety of items on their menu and they change the menu for special occasions like Lobsterfest, Crabfest, etc. Service: A I chose to sit at the bar and Charles was so attentive considering he had three groups at the bar and one-two in the bar area and he didn’t skip a beat, even when the servers were throwing drink orders at him. Price: B My meal was a just under $ 40 for my meal and two drinks(the drinks were a little pricey but well worth it). I’m hoping now that Red Lobster has changed hands, in terms of ownership, that they don’t increase the prices as one of the reasons Darden got rid of Red Lobster was the increasing cost of seafood is making it hard to turn a profit. Personally, I would’ve dumped Olive Garden, but that’s a whole ‘nother story!

This review is mainly based on the poor customer service we encountered which is in my opinion a big deal. My best friend and I went for a late dinner. Got there around 8:30. They close at ten. We were rushed the entire time we were there. The waiter was absent about half the time. Besides making inappropriate comments about partying and drinking he kept picking up drinks and food we weren’t even done with. And without asking. Maybe as an attempt to get us to leave quicker. One appetizer never came. My meal was over cooked. The food was just ok in my opinion. Definitely gonna look into other options for seafood from now on.

RL here at IH-10 and Callaghan still shines! Wife and I *both* hankering for King Crab legs. Got it again this time! YUM! Stephen was our server. GREATJOB! Kept our glasses full, quick on the draw with food, and even entertaining and complimentary, as I had just gotten word from my doc that I needed to modify my diet. Lost weight: good. 10.8A1C? Not good. So… low carb, low sugar diet. And seafood aplenty per the doc! Will be getting the fish and seafood going. Thanks Stephen for your kind words and advice!

I like this location. Never to packed, and service is usually on point. servers are always very polite, everything is kept very clean, and the food is as good as i expect it to be for the price. My only complaint is that im never really full when i leave. But its always a nice date with the wife and the drinks are well made too.

Meh. I’ve never really liked Red Lobster, but I got a gift card for Christmas to go here so I figured I’d give it a try. What a disappointment! Boring, overlooked lobster that was sent back and we were given a new one. I give it three stars because they took the lobster completely off the bill and were courteous about that. I wouldn’t eat the food here again, though. There’s too many options out there to stick with boring Red Lobster.

I like their food. Always have. I just wish their presentation was a little more vibrant. Like colored plates or something. The white plates add nothing to the food. Rather bland-looking, you know.

I had dinner with my lovely wife last night(Friday) at around 7pm. The wait time was stated at around an hour but we were seated in about 30 minutes. «Busy» is the best I can describe the atmosphere, lots of families with small children, surprisingly, but is was not overly noisy. The table staff seemed to be almost in running mode through most of the evening! I had the Admiral Feast, a fried assortment of fish, scallops, clams and shrimp. It was cooked well and was tasty. The clams were a bit rubbery, as they usually are, the fish a tad dry, the shrimp and scallops perfect. There was zero visible grease and nothing was greasy in touch or taste. A pre-meal salad was perfect as well. The cheese biscuits were a bit cold, but quite tasty. The premier item we tried was the lobster pizza. This appetizer was delicious and I wish I had ordered another as my main meal! This is a must try combination of lobster, roasted tomatoes and cheese on an ultra thin crust. Superb! Dinner for two, no drinks was $ 50. The waitress got off to a stumbling start but recovered well and finished great. Good job, Red Lobster!

I may live in Texas at the moment, but I was born a Yankee in New England, and my current geolocation will never change that. Some people may have a warm place in their hearts for chains like Red Lobster, but please do not include me as one of those misguided souls. Give me instead, a lobster shore dinner at one of the hundreds of funky restaurants that you’ll find on the New England coastline. I prefer a place like Mike’s in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. It’s been around for years and years. You’ll find the mostly older clientele enjoying a Martini, or an Old-Fashioned cocktail, and conversing in ‘funny accents’. A pound and a quarter steamed lobster here will set you back only about $ 12.00 as a daily special. Ok, now back to Red Lobster. Red Lobster’s advertising drives me nuts! In Maine the minimum legal size lobster must measure at least three and one quarter inches from the eye socket to the back of the carapace where the tail joins the body. When your«Lobsterfest» entrée arrives at the table, check out the size of the lobster tail/s you are being served. Unless you ordered a live lobster from the tank at a premium price, you are not about to eat a Maine lobster! It probably came from Canada. Ask the manager.

Pretty standard, as far as Red Lobsters go. Staff interaction was entirely scripted but friendly and food was tasty but not mind blowing. Bf and I started with the shrimp nachos without the jalapeños, which arrived with the jalapeños. No big, picked them off, but wondered if the rest of the meal would arrive per our order. Nachos actually were pretty good. Considering we were trying to make. Irately healthy choices, this was a giant misstep. I severely underestimated the quantity of melted cheese. Oops. For our meal, we split the pick two with the wood grilled salmon for me and the shrimp scampi for him, along with the Caesar salad with baby shrimp for me and a baked potato for him. Everything was tasty but for all of the hype this place gets and the advertising they do, I remain underwhelmed. I make a lot of seafood at home, and have no shame about taking shortcuts such as frozen fish and preseasoned options when available. And for the life of me, I never know what to order here because I can make all of the entrees at home myself and can’t taste a difference. If you feel similarly, I suggest throwing the usual dining options aside and ordering various new and seasonal appetizers. Those seem to have more of a wow factor than their standard menu offerings.

Had you asked me to write a review of Red Lobster 10 years ago, before I was a Unilocaler, I would of given Red Lobster 5 stars. I would of said the seafood is great and the prices match the quality and environment given to patrons. Unfortunately, Unilocal has spoiled me. Since I’ve eaten at so many other restaurants and have had plenty of other experiences I now can fully cross examine Red Lobster against other contenders. My ruling is as follows: I’m sorry Red Lobster, your food is bland. I ordered the lobster bisque(if you follow my reviews I’m sure you’re seeing a pattern when I eat seafood). The lobster bisque had a few chunks of lobster meat and what was left was a bland creamy soup. I felt like I was just downing heavy cream with lobster chunks in it. The Admiral’s Feast wasn’t impressive to me either. The fried shrimp tasted the same as the fried scallops which tasted the same as the fried fish which tasted the same as the fried clams. Perhaps just different textures. Lastly, what the hell is with the prices?! Outrageous! Flash frozen seafood trucked in to San Antonio is NOT worth those prices. No, no way, uh-uh, forget it! I know what you’re saying«but it’s Red Lobster! The cheddar bay biscuits. You’re over exaggerating! It’s good». Yeah, don’t’ think I’ve forgotten those cheddar bay biscuits. Those are good! But not good enough to waste money there just to eat them. As for over exaggerating, hey we all have different tastes and opinions. That’s why we vote and this is why I write restaurant reviews. If you disagree then join the Unilocal band wagon and write your own review. It’s what Unilocal is here for! Come on, I can take it! :D

Took my bestie to this Red Lobster for lunch because that’s what she wanted to eat on her bday and it’s located next door to her job. LOL It was pretty busy with what I presume the normal lunch crowd is on Thursdays, but we got seated right away and didn’t have a long wait for our food. Our server was pleasant and helped us get in and out in an hour since my bestie was on her lunch break. We ordered shrimp flatbread, grilled shrimp salad, wood-grilled shrimp skewers, and broccoli(and of course the cheese-garlic biscuits comes with the meal). The food was a bit salty, but it’s Red Lobster so we weren’t expecting high end cuisine. I spent a whopping $ 18(cheap date!) so It was about right for the price. It’s not the best, it’s not the worst, it’s simply Red Lobster. Nuff said!

I’m so sad that this Red Lobster has such bad reviews. I am a huuuge fan of Red Lobster and out of all the locations in SATX, this one is by far my favorite. It’s close to my home and also close to work, so it’s definitely a frequent stop for me. It can be on the expensive side so I don’t go here that often, but when I do — it’s a real treat! Out of all the times I’ve been to Red Lobster, I don’t think I’ve ever had service that I would gripe about. Usually the service is always above par. Especially tonight, we went and had a fantastic time, which is always a great reminder of how awesome RL can be! I have been to other locations here in SA and none of them compare to this one on Callaghan/410W. I would recommend anyone who wants to try RL or who had a bad experience at another RL to check this one out!

Went here for lunch yesterday after having not been to a RL for ages. The food was so-so. The shrimp scampi was unremarkable. Just shrimp in butter(small shrimp, at that). The crab cakes? Also unremarkable. Fish — great texture, but virtually flavorless. The biscuits; however, were good. The service was the highlight of the trip. The young man who waited on us gets five stars.
