This Red lobster is the worse! Not enough wait staff! Our waiter lied to us saying they were out of bread! Yet in fact other tables were being served bread. Never got any refills on our drinks. Worse experience! Do not go to this red lobster!

Food was awesome! We had lunch, but a very expensive lunch. Regretfully, they do not offer military discount. However, our waiter, Devon is definitely a A+ leveled! So VERYFRIENDLY! Attentive! Professional! Knows his menu! We enjoyed our meal b/c of him…

So disappointed — overall experience bad, place was a little dirty, stinky, flies, even for a seafood place. Ordered the usual Parmesan Crusted Chicken — just to learn once it gets to my table that they no longer crust the chicken just sprinkle toasted parm on top of it. Cooking issues — so corporate changed the recipe sounds like chef issues.

It’s red lobster so most people know what to expect. We went at 11, when they opened. Our server was speedy, efficient, friendly, just overall excellent. The food was good. What I’d expect from red lobster. The kitchen sent my food out not how I had ordered it. The server tried to remedy it but I had already split it up onto my children’s plates so it wasn’t worth it to fix it. Otherwise everything was great. However for just opening the biscuits were lukewarm… I was expecting just out if the oven fresh.

Went to this red lobster with my mother after not having been to one in years. I will at least give them this, they are consistent. Lots of food, good biscuits. Food is average quality though; I ended up choking on the fries. Mom shared her shrimp scampi which was a little oily because of the butter. Most of the flavor came from the butter. I had the fish and chips. Got 1 large cut of fish which was overpowered by the breading. They are consistent though. That’s what I remember from my last visit. One other observation, the place was empty at lunch. Is this just a dinner restaurant? I thought they offered a pretty good lunch special. If you want a quiet lunch, this is the place.

The most expensive microwave meal available! I don’t know why I keep trying different locations…

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner the other night in the early evening. They were having the Endless Shrimp special going on for all you can eat for $ 15.99(I think.) Along with the shrimp you get a salad and side. Not bad right? My girlfriend absolutely loves crab and shrimp, so we were super excited about finally being able to eat seafood after a long week. We do not go out to eat very often, as usually we cook dinner at home and eat together as a family. The look on my girlfriend’s face as she decided to get one of the bakes with mussels, scallops, shrimp, linguine and lobster was priceless! It was almost as if she was envisioning savoring each individual piece as she told the waiter what she wanted. I was just glad she was finally getting her seafood fix since the last time we ate any was about two months ago. When the salads came out, they were perfect… as much as a salad can be. Yet, when the main dishes came out it was another story. Her seafood was ALL completely overcooked! The mussels were so overcooked that instead of tasting like garlic it tasted straight up like fish and were hard and stuck to the shell. There was no juiciness at all, no flavor either. The lobster and shrimp were so chewy and rubbery that she was just disgusted. I mean it looked like someone just shot her dog the way she was so disappointed in the food. I mean what kind of chef overcooks seafood at a seafood restaurant??? The only thing she had that wasn’t overcooked was the linguine. My shrimp were overcooked too and rubbery but not as bad as hers. I felt bad and asked if she wanted any of mine because at least mine had enough flavor to not taste bad. Finally she just ordered a pound of crab legs and we agreed to split them because she was still hungry after not eating her original meal and thought it was a fluke. Boy was she wrong! I don’t know if it was just a bad night for the chef, or what. The crab legs came out and looked like they had freezer burn on them. They looked old and brown and not orange/red and white like the should. The worst part though is that they were ALSOOVERCOOKED! The crab meat would barely come out of the exoskeleton. And the last two sections of the leg, the meat was completely dried up so nothing actually came out! Such a disappointment to the both of us. The ONLY good thing we experienced was the waiter. He took the first meal off the check because he realized she didn’t eat any of the food. So, if you are reading this… thank you. But dang… I hope their chef figures out how to a) Cook seafood better so that it isn’t overcooked, dry, or rubbery tasting and b) figures out that if you are waiting for a shipment to come in to not use the freezer burn crab because it will turn out terrible. We both agreed that we aren’t coming back here. Not for a long while anyway. Next time we could just try Joe’s or Pappadeaux instead. Perhaps their chefs know how to cook shellfish properly. Wow. Best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. I usually don’t venture off to different restaurants. Best steak I’ve ever had. Waitress was no joke Johnny on the spot. And she was nice. Food was amazing as well as fathers food. Great service and well deserving of a 5⁄5. For sure coming back.

Went there last night for dinner. I was the 4th person there and since I was alone I sat at the bar. The staff was really friendly. All mostly teenagers and since it was a slow night they were all hovering together by the bar and hanging out. They have me company. As far as food, this was the worst palate experience I’ve had at a red lobster. I saw the waiter bring out my food and then turn back around as I was still eating the salad. Then when they did bring out my food it was cold and they warned me the plate was hot. It really wasn’t. The biscuits were like rock. The bartender asked if I wanted my biscuits to go and I politely told her no, they are like rocks. She apologized but didn’t bring a fresh basket out or anything. The lobster tail was cold and the shrimp was bland. The mashed potatoes had a brown coloring on the top layer so I knew they’ve been sitting there for a while. Red lobster doesn’t disappoint me but last night it did. I wish the food would’ve been warm and tasteful. I don’t think ill be returning to this location again. And even if desperate, never again on a Tuesday night.

It is very difficult to find good seafood in San Antonio without overpaying at a fancy place for the same dish you can get anywhere else. We do not live on the coast, so our options fro fresh seafood are really slim. Red Lobster satisfies the cravings every now and then. But…nothing better than fresh carribean seafood from state #50.5, Puerto Rico.

It’s tempting to assume that once you’ve seen one Red Loster you’ve seen them all, but this one pleased our family enough that I will drop a full three stars down for the crew(the highest I normally give for any chain location on Unilocal). When our party of 6 stopped by on a Sunday afternoon we found them greeting a large number of church groups and were told that the wait could be up to 45 minutes. Had it been my choice I would have then chosen somewhere else yet our Grandmother was looking forward to seafood and she just likes Red Lobster. Due to how the seating configuration was working with the larger groups of 10 plus, we were actually seated in less than 10 minutes. What we were pleased to find at this location was one of the friendliest staffs that I ever recall at any RL. The people working not only seemed to enjoy what they were doing, but they seemed to like dealing with people, even when there’s a lot of people. We left feeling like we were served exceptionally well with smiles on our faces.
