I recently purchased a full tuxedo from Rex Formal Wear, and I couldn’t be happier with the customer service, the tux, and the way I look in it! I went with my son to rent a tuxedo for prom, 2 weeks before the event. They have both branded and non-​branded suits to choose from with a variety of colors and some pattern stuff, like camouflage (I know, right). My son was fitted and the suit was ready for pick-​up the day before the event. The staff is competent and fairly patient. I’m kind of a nit picky mom and they answered everything reasonably and well. Initially my son had wanted to rent dress shoes and we had paid for the rental however after walking around in them, he changed his mind. I was given a refund immediately without hassle or attitude. I would also like to mention that I watch a young boy maybe 3 being measured who was pitching a very bad tantrum and the staff member who was working with the family was cool and friendly about the whole thing. There is another prom next year and I will definitely rent from Rex’s again.

This store has no customer service and the employees have took no accountability. I used this store for my wedding because they offered a discount through the wedding fair. I went in and ordered the tuxedos a few months before the wedding. We picked out the colors and styles for the tux, vests and ties. I got a call 2 weeks before the wedding telling me that the ties I ordered would be an extra $ 10 each. I told them that was unacceptable because they had already agreed to give me what I ordered for a certain price. I called every day for a week and no one could give me an answer about correcting my order. I finally spoke to the manager lady Jay who was very rude and called me a liar but said that i would get the ties I ordered because the lady who took my order made a mistake. When we went to pick up the tuxedos, we did not receive the correct ties, my dad’s tux was dirty and was the wrong size. They sent the wrong size jacket for the groom so my dad had to go back the day of the wedding to get the correct ties and jacket. We ended up buying shirts from K&G for my dad and the groom because the ones provided by Rex were so worn out and dingy. And after all of that they charged my credit card for an extra $ 90 because they said a vest was missing, even though the vest was returned. It took them 4 months and being reported to the Better Business Bureau before refunding my money.
