Came at 11 am on Saturday. No waiting. Very friendly staff. Ordered Reuben sandwich, strawberry salad, applewood smoked bacon ciabatta, tomato basil soup, and roasted butternut squash. I would come back for the salad, tomato basil soup, and reuben sandwich. Reuben sandwich with thousand island based sauce is delicious! Free gooey butter bar with Unilocal check-in! Hidden gem in north central san antonio!

Delicious sandwich shop! They forgot to put the bacon on my Applewood Smoked Bacon Cibatta and when I mentioned it they quickly fixed it! Also, if you check in for the first time you get a free butter bar which is delicious!

Nice family owned café right off Blanco street noise is bad outside. But when the weather is cool the inside atmosphere is very pleasant. The owners of this restaurant keep it very clean and neat. If you want well prepared great tasting lunch I highly recommend this bistro.

The strawberry salad and tomato soup were amazing. The mint dressing was light and not overly sweet, and the goat cheese was excellent. I don’t normally like goat cheese but this was not gamy, served warm, and encrusted in roasted nuts on top of the salad. I gave it four stars instead of five because many tables appeared dirty, the floor was messy, and what appeared to be the owners were sitting in the dining area talking. It was well past lunch rush, so I’m not sure why it was still messy, but this is minor. They were very hospitable. I will be back with more people!

This is such a great little restaurant to eat at! We always get the best service when we come here. I love their turkey ciabatta sandwich, meatloaf, and their Lemon squares are to die for!

My fiancé and I loveeee this place!!! The butternut squash soup is hands down the best we’ve ever had! And the gyro is so yummy! All of the food is so fresh. The customer service is awesome. Great place for a quick lunch, the service is fast! Very laid back atmosphere, it’s never too loud.

This is one of my «go to» local lunch spots. Everything is fresh and delicious. My number 1 favorite item is the butternut squash soup. MmMmMmM. Egg salad sandwich and lobster salad are close seconds. I also love that I’m supporting a local family business. Down with the chains! ;-P

My only regret is that I didn’t try this place sooner! Do not be deceived by the ‘strip mall’ location. I had their Asian Chopped Salad and I would order it again. Ingredients were fresh and the dish was tasty.

My family eats here three times a week. The staff is friendly and the turkey sandwich is great. Order it with the strawberry salad. Also, kids eat FREE all summer! That is a deal that is hard to beat.

Very clean, that’s what first struck me upon entering the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. I got a trio of salad, ½ sandwich and soup. Everything was very fresh and tasty, and most importantly healthy. Eating out in SA can be challenging while trying to eat clean, so it’s great to have another healthy place to eat on the go. I will be going back!

This place looks small and unassuming from the outside. There was an older crowd, but it might’ve been due to the time of day. nevertheless, it seemed welcoming. The staff behind the counter were patient as we looked through the menu. I finally decided on the River Tree salad and ciabatta combo while a friend ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad. Service was quick and our food arrived within a few minutes. The portions here for salads are huge. Though I didn’t try the chicken salad, it looked amazing. My salad tasted as fresh and crispy as it looked. The staff was just as great. A lady from behind the counter(management?) asked how our food was and commented the champagne dressing on my salad was made in house. Always a plus! I was halfway done with my salad when I realized I had completely forgotten about my sandwich. I honestly only chose it because of the applewood smoked bacon. I was slightly disappointed, however. Ciabatta bread is dry enough as it is, so the lack of spread made it difficult to eat. Overall, the ambience is relaxing and unpretentious. Would definitely return.

My bf and I came to have lunch here today and I tried their tropical sandwich along with their tomato pesto mozzarella as an appetizer. And let me just say they were both delish! Very flavorful and more than enough serving size for both. I was very satisfied with my meal. My bf had their chicken lasagna and he was equally satisfied. Although, he did say his portion size could’ve been a bit larger. Their black Forrest cake was on special so I decided to have a piece. I thought the frosting could’ve been a bit sweeter but still a pretty good slice of cake.

Don’t even bother ordering online. They said they never got my order. They did prepare my tomato pesto panini rather quickly, but when I went to eat it, the bread was hardly warm and the mozzarella cheese was cold and it had no flavor. After reading the reviews i thought I’d stop and try it. Guess I’ll keep going back to Panera Bread!

The food was great. I had a vegetarian pizza and it was fantastic. The olives were on it really stood out. Fantastic service by everyone. Friendly staff. Would visit again.

Surprised with their mozzarella panini. It was good. Just tone down on the greasiness of the panini bread. But it was really good. I hardly eat sandwiches but I enjoyed mine. This place has a good variety of sandwiches for a quick lunch.

While staring up at the menu, an exiting patron caught my eye, smiled, and said, «Order anything– it’s ALL good here!» Love when this happens. Eventually ordered the pastrami sandwich, the turkey sandwich, tomato bisque, and the crostini tapas. It was wayyyy too much food, but it was all delicious. Sandwiches were thick with meat and fresh veggies, soup was sinfully rich and creamy with chunks of crushed tomato, and the tapas were delicious– pesto, cheese, and tomato on olive oil crostini, how can you go wrong? Would recommend everything we tried, as well as the house made chips that came with our sandwiches. Customer service was attentive and friendly, restaurant itself is clean and decorated with personality. Last thing worth mentioning about this place is pricing– I wouldn’t say it’s expensive, but we spent nearly $ 40 on lunch without trying by adding on the appetizer and soup. Most meals are around $ 10 each. Saw several other menu items I’d like to try, will definitely be going back!
