Finally got to try this place out. It took about 25 minutes to get my order. Only to get a rasp a not shaved ice. Quickly melted. Won’t be returning.

We came here on Sunday night after a hearty dinner, and I decided to be adventurous and ordered the Pepinada Delight, well, it is very sour, so it isn’t to my liking.
But my friend ordered the Strawberry Delight, which is sweet, creamy and the strawberry is tasty. Super good on a hot evening.
BTW — we also got the Chinese Candies, which is dry salty plums. It is VERY salty.

No better place in San Antonio for frosty treats! Where they may like in curb appeal they more than make it up in flavors! The best mangonadas, diablitos, and always a great amount of syrup. I have no idea where they get their product from but for some reason it simply taste better than any other I have had. You can get any type of traditional flavoring to the more ethnic. I live no where near this location but whenever I have guests I take them here.

Sam Snack Stand is a great place to try out this summer with the weather being so hot in Texas, I would definitely recommend a San Antonio favorite of a Piccadilly which is shaved ice, pickle juice, diced pickles, green or red chamoy and sprinkled with lucas or a Sammy which consist of flavored shaved ice, ice cream, whipped cream and sprinkles. They also sell many other items such as raspas, fruit cups, corn in a cup, nachos with jalapeños, and a favorite for everyone Hot Cheetos with cheese. The prices and sizes vary of course. If you’re in this side of town I would definitely try this place at least once, It’ll have you coming back for more!

45 minutes to get a basic snowcone… no refunds once you pay, so make sure you’re willing to wait. Other places across town take 10 minutes at most.
