0 stars would be most accurate! Stay far away from SSFCU. My husband and I have an auto loan with SSFCU and it has been a complete nightmare! The call center obviously can’t get their shit together and all the representatives are morons. I don’t understand how one could apply a car payment to principle only then expect me to pay additional money bc your incompetent rep could do their job correctly. I never knew a call center job was that fkn hard, yes that’s sarcasm! They’ll dip into your account bc ‘their auto loan’ isn’t satisfied when in fact, if they did their job correctly… my auto loan would be overly satisfied bc of this bullshit. I swear, I call almost every week about this, nothing has been fixed. My patience is extremely low and yell every time! You are better off with RBFCU, USAA, SACU… anywhere but here! My frustration is at an all time high, they are misusing my money and my time. I should not have to call over and over to get my loan rectified. I never had this issue with any of my banks. Now our credit has to suffer to get my car loan refinanced so we can go with another financial institution. This is ridiculous!

Well they definitely killed the credit union I was banking with before. SSFCU seem to have untouchable rates and hands down perks for members. Definitely worth making the switch.

I’m pretty bummed SSFCU is no longer in North Star mall because I did a lot of bank errands on Sundays. I will have to drive to the other malls (Ingram and Rolling Oaks) until they close those locations if a Sunday visit is necessary. This location is still conveniently located, still without a drive thru and now not open on Sundays. Bummer. At least they have the new store smell and most of the same employees that hardly crack a smile. I got to change banks!
