Well, so I’ve been out of town for a while. Clearly, Jr forgot my list of 142 rules. Rule 73, section a reads as follows: no animals of any type shall enter the premises either under its own power or by the will of another.
Needless to say, as a result of unauthorized puppy visits, my carpets required cleaning, sanitization, so on and so forth. We’d used Stanley Steemer at the office and they’d done a bang-​up job so I decided to give em a shot.
I called around 10 a.m. By noon, the truck pulled up and out jumped to capable-​looking fellows. They got right to work and made my carpets look (and more importantly smell) like new… which is how I’d left them. It’s 2 p.m., they’re gone and things are back to normal… almost. We still have to discuss rules 17, 41, 92, and 119 subsection 3. Thanks Stanley Steemer for putting order back where chaos has reigned free!

Terrible experience. The first thing the technician did was color the grout the tile and then show me what he did in order to try and up-​sale a $ 600+ carpet/​tile cleaning. I don’t know if there’s an extra commission in this but you don’t do anything in someone’s home without prior approval — I made him take it out. During the course of cleaning they had two major snags in the carpet (which they admitted) and a towel bar which was torn off (not admitted). I was told a mgr would contact me but this hasn’t happened yet although we have attempted to call without a return. Shame on this manager, if there’s property damage there should be an immediate response! The tile cleaning was horrible — once the floors were dry they were still dirty and full of shoe marks, it was better before they started. The carpet was not cleaned in all the areas — some light furniture moved in some rooms and not in others. It is disappointing to think this was a reputable business, not any more.

The tech under promised and over delivered. I’m very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them.

We have used Stanley Steemer for a long time now and this was the very first time that I was disappointed. We decided to do the special 2 rooms and the hallway for $ 99. We have had a stain in our living room for quite some time now and this is the first time that it appeared highly visible after they cleaned the carpets. We have tried everything and the stain will not go away. During our previous carpet cleanings, they would go around and spray any stained areas prior to steam cleaning them and this time they did not do so.

Have previously had really good experiences with service by Stanley Steamer. This time not so much! I was disappointed.

This company will not come to your house to give you a quote on the cost of the service. It is an over the phone quote. My quote was $ 468 to clean the tile, Seal the grout on the tile, and clean the carpet in two bedrooms. I thought this was a good compared to other quotes I had received. However when the gentleman got to my house to do the services, they began to explain that I would need a color seal on my grout, not a clear seal. This was not explained to me when I talked to the company on the phone for the original quote. Yes, the workmanship is outstanding. Yes, it looks fabulous. But my bill ended up being $ 1212. I think they are wrong not to explain clear seal and color seal price differences when you make an appointment.

They did a great job on the carpet but they did show up an hour late to what was already a 4 hour time frame, with no phone call to say they would be late or still showing up, I had to call 3 times to make sure other then that the service was ok

AWESOME! Next day service, easy price quoting over the phone, AMAZING work! I had them come out to clean my tile in which the grout was extremely miscolored. The gentlemen were really nice, professional and did a great job! Will use again!

We had our carpets cleaned today by John R. and Johnny G. I received a phone call about 15 – 30 minutes before to let me know someone was on the the way. The appointment was scheduled for between 8 – 9:30. They arrived within the window given. The guys were very friendly, personable and professional and informative. This is the first time having the carpets cleaned. Professionally so there were some spots of worry and lots of dirt build up the we were concerned about. Everything is just like new now!!!

Setup appointment online for the next day so the web site is intuitive and effective. They called about an hour ahead and arrived on time. They normally give you a 3 – 4 hour window on when they will arrive. The guys arrived and were polite and professional. They explained what they would do and did alittle upsell on other add ons, but were not aggressive so that was good. They set right to work and were done quickly. Carpets look great at ok price. I looked and did not find too much overspray on furniture and walls and they move some furniture at no extra cost. I’ve use them before and will use them again. Great job guys!

Too expensive for crappy work…

Had my carpet cleaned this month by Chris and Mercid. The last guy was great but Chris kept pestering non stop while I was in my office trying to do important work. He wanted me to add extras. Extra scotch guard, etc. My carpet is great, but he would not take no for an answer. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. The other guy struggling doing the work alone tangled with the hose. Management, pay close attention to your employees.

Awesome service! This was my 1^st carpet clean experience and thanks to Stanley steemer it was a great one. They were quick and professional. Would recommend.

I used to LOVE them (see my review on 9÷3÷2011), but I was VERY DISAPPOINTED this time around. I have been subscribing to their services for 3 years now and was always very satisfied with the work. Until yesterday. We were the last stop for the crew, they clearly were rushing. They did a very mediocre job, forgot to even rake some of the areas. I still have two more cleanings in my plan, but might not even use them, but find a different company. Will definitely call them back today to see if they could send another crew out to fix at least some of this work… I understand that pet stains are tough to remove, but I expected much more, especially since they used to be MUCH better…

They do great work but one of the times they came out the workers asked me if they could do some of the work on the side and I could pay them with a separate check the company would never know about. It made me very uncomfortable. On the one hand, I wanted to call the co. and tell them but on the other hand you never know how employees might retaliate so I’m telling the story on Unilocal instead.

super quick and efficient. these guys were in and out in less than 15 minutes. the chemicals they use (maybe it was the deodorizer) were really strong, so plan to stay out of your place for at least the rest of the day, if not a few days. there were a couple stains they couldn’t get out, but the rest of the carpet looked a lot cleaner– almost a shade lighter! fair price, good service.
