In town for Spues game. Walked over from AT&T Center before doors opened at game. ½ mile easy walk. EXCELLENT Burgers and Shakes! Clean covered outdoor seating at picnic tables out back with nice breeze. Super friendly lady working the counter. Food cooked for you so took 10 min for food to be ready. They seem to do a brisk business.

We were looking for a place to eat, downtown, on NYE and a lot of places were closed. So, we decided to consult with good olé’ Unilocal!We noticed that this place was only a couple miles down from the Riverwalk and decided to get in the car to drive to it.
I would have to say that this place is definitely a hidden gem! We saw TONS of cars in the drive thru line and decided to go and just order from the main window. I ordered the fried catfish platter and my hubby ordered the ½ lb handmade bacon cheeseburger. So, we sat down and waited for our order.
As we were sitting there, we noticed that the drive thru cars were getting their meals a lot quicker than us. So, word of advice… use the drive thru because we waited in the cold and IT SUCKED!
Anyhoo, we got the food and took it back to our place since it was so cold to eat outside. Yes, they only have outdoor seating. I have to say that the catfish is probably the best seasoned catfish that I’ve had in San Antonio. It had a nice crisp to it and I really didn’t even need tartar sauce. I SMOTHER my fish in tarter sauce normally. My hubby’s burger was juicy, delicious, and well seasoned. We will definitely be going back to this place.
Don’t be deterred by the area that it’s in. It’s SOOO worth it! Also, MAKE SURE TO BRING CASH! They don’t accept CCs!

This was by far the best burger I have had in many many years. If it wasn’t for it being on the other side of town I would go get one right now, but alas that will have to wait till Monday after class. The burger tasted fresh, not like a frozen pre formed patty, it wasn’t super greasy, nor was it dry. The meat had good flavor and seasoning. The fries were quite tasty too, no super complicated seasoning on it, just salt but cooked to perfection too. got an oreo milkshake as well and it was freakin awesome! I could tell real ice cream was used, not soft serve and real milk was used. pretty much had the flavor I would expect from what I can make at home.
Paid a little more than $ 9 for a double cheese burger, drink, fries and small size milkshake (which is med size compared to other places) I will be back on Monday!

This place is a solid quick bite. Made fresh every time. It is in a rougher neighborhood, but still safe.
The food is affordable and delicious, a quality fast food. The double bacon cheeseburger was made to order and delicious, made how you want it. The milkshake was large but not quite smooth.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good food in a hurry.

I live in the area and this is a really good burger joint. It’s your traditional greasy burger stand with quality ingredients. Living in southeast SA it’s nice to have a refreshing change from the normal food desert inhabitants. They also have some good wings and hotdogs. Don’t let the service deter you from trying it.

This place is so good!!! They have delicious, fresh burgers and amazing shakes. There is no indoor seating so you’d have to go through the drive thru on a hot day but that’s a small trade off. They have a sign that says cash only but she said they take cards if you don’t have cash. They just prefer cash. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat after a ballgame !!! 2 thumbs up for sure!!!

Fast, & real food these shakes are so amazing im glad we are here before the Spurs game thank you

This place is great the food is old fashion good… but the additude of the staff needs cheese sauce cuz they are not friendly.

At CrossFit regionals this place is great quick break from the day! Great food. Doesn’t look like much but mmmm mmmm good.

This place is the epitome of a traditional American burger joint. AWESOME burgers cooked to order, made with real meat! The staff is super friendly so that is a nice plus.
Just a side-​note, the only seating available is outside under a shaded pavilion, so the warmer days could be a bit harsh. There is also a drive through available if you’d like to take your delicious burger home. In all, the little hole in the wall is highly recommended!!!
