Wait staff’s English skills are poor and they also don’t know them menu and are very slow. Food is good I recommend curry based dishes.(yellow, green, red, ectra…)

I was warned, but I was cocky. Thai hot means REALLY hot. I got the Tom Yum, which was really good, but almost too hot to enjoy. The flavor was among the best that I have had in San Antonio, even though I asked for shrimp but was brought chicken. I also got the Yum Nuer, which was a bit disappointing. Cooked well-done, but I didn’t really specified. I should have as I like it medium-rare. That was my bad. I asked for that one Thai spicy too, but it was not as spicy as the soup. It was also more of a warm salad than the cool one I am accustomed to. Service was prompt and friendly. I’ll give it another shot sometime, and maybe add a star… But they don’t serve Som Tum, Issan sausage or sticky rice. At least they have Singha!

In terms of the food, it is pretty good considering there isn’t an enormous Asian population in San Antonio. I went here for dinner and had chicken panang curry. It wasn’t as flavorful as the Thai food I’ve had in the past, probably because the basil and kaffir leaves weren’t as fresh, but it was better than I expected. I would have preferred my curry spicier, but our server didn’t ask how spicy I wanted it. As for the service, once our food arrived, our server pretty much disappeared. No refills offered, no checking on us to see if our entrees were okay or if we needed anything else. We waited for nearly 30 minutes after our bill before we were able to flag her down to get our check. The place was nearly empty, so it wasn’t because she was too busy. Menu items are pricier than most other Thai restaurants, but that is probably due to the Stone Oak location. I’ll probably try other places before heading back here again.

Ok, I’m from a Big Big city where we have thai food galore, so I was abit disappointed when I couldn’t find a half way decent Asian restaurant of any kind here in SA. But to my surprise, my friend put me on to this place and its awesome! (disclaimer) I don’t eat meat, so I can’t vouch for their meat dishes(but my friends say those are great as well), but the dishes I’ve had here have been totally awesome. I can’t figure out why this place is almost always empty each time I go… the bbq/grill/chain spot next door though is always parked, so idk what that says about SA-nians and their taste in food… lol In any case, I have the(seafood?) clay pot, and it is awesome. I’ve also had their seafood green curry, which is great as well. Only bad thing is they don’t deliver, so I have to trek up there each time I want some thai… And I wouldn’t mind some reco on other thai places…

Wow. What a difference a week makes. Now the food is great, but the service is S-L-O-W. I had spring rolls and panang curry that were perfectly cooked. My wife had Tom Kha soup that was very tasty. I really like the food, but they need to up the service and kitchen speed. We waited about 30 minutes to get our food and the dining room was only 1⁄3 full. Albert made mention of the décor — it’s very out of place for a Thai restaurant because it’s actually a Greek motif. The restaurant used to be a Papoulli’s Greek restaurant.

I really wanted to give this place at least 4 stars because of the awesome service, but I just couldn’t do it. The food was terrible. We got the Pad Thai and the Pad Se-ewe. The noodles and vegetables in the Pad Se-ewe were way over cooked. The Pad Thai was really dry to where the noodles all clumped together. The taste of both dishes were bland. I could go on and on about how bad the food was, but I don’t want to because I feel bad for the owner(?) and waitstaff since they were really kind and attentive. The interior design is nice and different from other Thai places I’ve been to, maybe because this place is new and hasn’t been open for that long. My bad food experience could have been an isolated incident. I might go back again to see if it was.
