Excellent selection and friendly service. They have a nice selection and the owner Nancy is very knowledgeable. I will be back when I travel to San Antonio again. Its located in the riverwalk area so you can make a day out of it.

I found myself in the same situation as the previous reviewer during a trip to San Antonio in April.
Person in the store was nice and recommended a book as they really didn’t have anything recent in there. Went ahead and bought the book as I was interested. I had reservations but went ahead with it. Total sale price: $ 23.80.
Later that night, I took a closer look and noticed that the MSRP had whiteout over it and that the price was written in pen (once again, my own stupidity for not looking more closely). Store price: $ 21.99. MSRP: $ 9.99.
That’s over a 100% markup. I’ll admit I was dumb enough for making the purchase. However, that is the only purchase I will ever make there, and I would highly suggest you never waste your money on a business that conducts business in such a way.

Went to Rivercenter mall and was so relieved to find a book store. That feeling went away really quickly. When you walk in the store it has the feeling of a used bookstore but nope… They appear to be new. This is my problem with the book store. Example: I picked up a paperback and on the sleeve it has the price US 9.99 and on the back of the book it has a store sticker price of 15.99. Really?! Yes really! It’s pretty much the same for all the books. I feel like I’m getting totally ripped off here. I guess anything to make a buck. But when you take advantage of people little is returned to you.
