Excellent customer service!!! Helen was very patient and presented me with different shipping options, provided me information without me asking it.

I’ve had more negative experiences at this location than good.
Pro:
— the ease of having a ups store near where I live is nice.
— they sell items like stamps, boxes, bubble wrap.
— the manager knows how to send over seas packages to military bases. But only the manager–
–never a line in the store. Majority of the time no one is here.
Cons:
–The lack of knowledge with staff members.
1-​I brought an invitation to this location and asked how many stamps I would need for each envelope. He weighed the envelope with the invitation and told me 1 stamp per invitation. I bought +50 beautiful stamps and sent them off! He informed me wrong. He said 1 stamp when I really needed 2 stamps. This caused all invitations to be sent back to me a week later. I went back and they no longer had the stamps I originally purchased to match the ones I had on the invitations. I feel this was disappointing due to I wanted presentation of the invitations to be uniform and matching. I bought different stamps and had them sent out a week after originally trying to send them.
2– it’s nice that the manager knows how to send mail over seas (she’s THE ONLY ONE!) — but please don’t make any plans for the next half an hour. She opened my box (that I had placed each item in a certain way) to be weighed, asked how much each item was, asked where each item was made. I understand customs is a bit crazy– but the post office and other places does not take items out to do individually weighing and ask where it’s made. But– at least she knows how to send it to my brother overseas in Japan. I just wish she didn’t take everything out of the box. It was meant as a gift and the way it was sent– was not ideal– but only sent that way because my box was opened.
3– a staff member didn’t know how to send my package over seas. She didn’t know that there was a military base in Japan (even when I was giving the address). Which was causing her to charge me over $ 100 to send a small package. It cost me $ 30 last time for something larger– so I wasn’t sure why this time it was different. The manager came by and realized she was doing it wrong. The staff member seemed defensive and said she didn’t know how to do it — therefore the manager took over— this process took over half an hour (and I was the only person in the store)
4-​my last experience was very frustrating. The staff member was helping me send my package to my new born nephew in Japan to arrive for Valentine’s Day. It seemed to be going smoothly and much faster than normal. She gave me everything I needed and I felt good about it. It would arrive days before Valentine’s Day. A week later– my package was sent back to me due to not all paper work being filled out correctly by the ups staff member (or at least that’s what they told me when I called the 1 – 800 number). I refused to go back and get my money back (due having being frustrated and giving up on them!) but instead just go to the post office that cost me 3 times cheaper and get there in 14 days instead of 9 days (as she promised me at ups). So my nephew did not receive his Valentine’s Day package until this past week. Almost two weeks after Valentine’s Day.
I plan to just take my business to the post office where they offer the same services for a cheaper price. The post office has their knowledge and customer service knocked down to a science! This place needs some work on over seas training and time management.

My wife and I left this place kinda fuming. It took waaay longer to get a lil old iPhone shipped to my in-​laws than most places and the owner kept messing up the shipping info, as well as upselling crap we didn’t need. Overall, not a good experience and we definitely won’t be going back.

Great customer service! I am always met with superb customer service from the staff. I may be just coming to the store at the right times or the staff is this good, but there are virtually no lines. I am normally seen and taken care of as soon as I enter the store. I have been to several UPS locations in San Antonio and even though this location is not the closest to my home. It is totally worth the extra few mile drive. I highly recommend this store to anyone.

I hate to break the cherry of a new business location by giving them a bad review, but seriously, I have been here three times now, and all three times it has taken four times as long as it would anywhere else. I am here right now trying to overnight a package to Houston, two girls are on the phone with somebody trying to figure out how to print out a shipping label, I have now officially been here for 18 minutes, and there are no other customers in the store. To the owner of this franchise location, please train your employees before you let them loose on a new store location.
